So yeah. It's been a really steller week so far. I have a head cold and feel like shite...been trying to baby myself so that I'm well by the time I fly but we'll see...Today was the day that just WOULDNT DIE. Gaaaah. Even coming home at 1100 and then sleeping for almost 4 hours didn't help much...i went back to work and it was just *blehhhhh*, all over again... On a positive note, Dan got in touch with me and I've got my plans set for my trip. I'm gonna spend a couple days with him in TN and then fly to cali to see my family there for a few more days. No 2nd Garbage show in Detroit, no trip to NYC, no crossing the border in Canada...just some hardcore catching up with Dan and some chilling with the family...perfect. I really just don't have the energy or the incentive to make some whirlwind kick ass adventurous trip this time around, so these plans are juuuuust right. And this is all at a good time because I am SO not in the mood to even think about plans right now. You ever notice how, when you're sick, the longer you're awake, the better you tend to feel...and then you go to sleep and wake up and you feel worse than when you went to sleep...is it just because you adapt to your shittiness the longer you've been awake? Oh and I found this really cool chat program called Trillian yesterday. It consolidates AIM/ICQ/Yahoo/MSN/IRC into one program...so you don't have to have a bizillion different programs to communicate with all your various friends...and it's still freeware...too bad I so rarely see my friends online due to the damn time differences. Current mood: blah.
