-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 7:41a In remarkably good spirits this morning. My car is now all squared away and I got off real easy on repairs...other than the new tires I knew i had to get (which i paid $160 for last week) I had only a couple very minor things to get taken care of (only $30!). Got off super easy--only cost me about $400 for all the insurance/weight tax/inspection fees/repairs. Now when i leave here I'll actually make some money off selling the thing! Wahoo! pocket money! All my christmas shopping is done and everything's been sent off! I'm getting this super rad mongolian sword knock off today for $25! I crawled into bed at around 330 PM yesterday, and except for only a few short stints, stayed mostly asleep till 0530AM this morning :) Mmmmm. sleep good :) I went to the computer store and couldn't get a refund/exchange on the chip...bastard said that because I didn't put thermal paste on the chip, he was gonna write it off as overheating/fried chip. I run it like eight hours w/o this paste and it fried? I've run my older chip for a couple months now w/o paste! Grrrrrr. Why do i always hafta spend so much money to learn my lessons? I'm just a thick headed bafoon I guess. lol. I need to pester my friend about the cat today. Work...work is super boring right now. There's like...NOTHING going on. I'm getting bored with surfing the net. Need some new cool sites...open to suggestions ;) Super annoyed i can't get on chat programs anymore...sys admins knocked out access to even the java/web based ones :( Hell...i can't even log into my yahoo mail account anymore. Yes...very bored at work. sigh. current mood: upbeat
8:04a P.S. Yesterday I found Pynchon's _V._ at the Marines Library. How the FUCK is it that I couldn't find this book after THREE trips back to the states...innumerbale bookstores both new and use, spread all over the nation...and then I find it here, in the MARINES library, on OKINAWA of all places? Boggles the friggin mind. Yeah yeah...I've seen it online but it's just...the hunt for it and finding it IRL is just so much more fun, ya know? anyway...

someone please shoot me. god. sometimes it sucks being lazy. i want something to keep me busy but I don't want any work. lol. yeah. this kept me busy for all of about five minutes. lovely. maybe I'll be lucky and it'll post five times so i hafta go and delete all the extraneous ones! current mood: bored
