I was just smoking a cigarette out on parent's back porch...10PM, moonlight and stars...and quiet, calm, serene. No freeway noise, no loud neighbors...all is well in the world back there. There are no wars, no crime, no lies, deceit, hate, or greed. There are no suicidal thoughs or financial woes. Just quiet...
I'm writing with with a hope to upload it tonight. I brought my modem with me. It's only ten cents a minute long distance, so I should be able to cut and paste this without taking *too* long or costing too much...check my email too...dumb fuck me forgot my ticket order form at my apt...must be postmarkerd by tommorrow...I need to make a few emails to check cost and address...
So I'm glad(?) to report all seems well here. Thoughts
of christa haven't run rampant...not to say there have been*no* flashes...but
few enough to convince me I can be OK a week without her presence. It's
comforting to know that's possible, considering how much time we spent
together this last week and a half.
I must say though, I'm ever so happy I *did* just break
down and ask her out...it's been well so far.
I may be delivering chinese food for a few hours this week. I talked to my old boss and told her I'd be availible if I could use their delivery van...clutch on my car is acting up again. I think it's the warmer climate...once I get back to school, it's fine...but as is now I need to pump it to build up enough pressure...blaaaaahhhhh. It's annoying.
I am about five dollars shy of making utilities/credit card bills this month...need to make that five bucks in the next day or so otherwise checks will bounce...
I ran through 3/4 of a pack on the drive down. Couldn't get christa/school/blah out of my mind for the first half or so...but eventually that faded and by the time there was no more scenery to speak of, I could enjoy the drive...actually had a highway patrol car flip a bich to tail me for a bit. Guy ahead of me was hell bent and I didn't notice I had been doing 65 in a 55...luckily I saw the u turn and slowed soon enough to avoid a ticket...still unnerving to have a cop on your tail for five + miles...
Nothing more to speak of really. Wanna keep it short for tonight's trial upload anyway...
