for a long time it seemed to me that life was about to begin - real life but there was always some obstacle in the way, something to be gotten through first, some unfinished business, time still to be served, a debt to be pain. at last it dawned on me that these obstacles were my life this perspective has helped me to see there is no way to happiness. happiness is the way so treasure every moment you have and remember that time waits for no one.... happiness is a journey not a destination. -- souvza

One must still have chaos in oneself to be able to give birth to a dancing star. -- Nietzsche

Not an easy question to answer. In a nutshell, I think like the subject matter, it's really hard to figure out how to explain love. But what we narrowed it down to is... is it ever too late to tell somebody you love them? And I think people have really started thinking about that. I think the older you get the more fearful you become of putting yourself on the line.

"When you have seen a little glimpse that you are the creator of your own misery, it will be very difficult for you now to go on creating it. It is easy to live in misery when you know others are creating it -- what can you do? You are helpless. That's why we go on throwing responsibilities on others." -- George Bernard Shaw.

At the core, I don't write to entertain (though I'm glad it does for some of you), I write because it gives me back my perspective -- puts me in either an emotional place where I can purge or in an objective place so I can see the big picture.

"The world is just made up of weird people! Why don't they tell us? I mean, as kids, why don't they like tell us in kindergarten, "people are odd"? Then at least we wouldn't feel so bad about growing up and being strange ourselves. And maybe we'd be more tolerant and open minded about the strange." - Ally Mc Beal

"The last thing you want is to be in love with someone you can't have. That is something I know." - Ally McBeal

I often have reached a state with people that I love that if I could I *would* give them my pulse. But it never comes back the other way...(or hasn't so far.) -- www.angelfire.com

I shouldn't have fooled myself into thinking that what is on the inside of someone is all that matters, because not everyone thinks like I do. -- anonymous

"If you think back and replay your year, if it doesn't bring you tears, either of joy or sadness, consider the year wasted." --John Cage to Ally (Ally McBeal)

"The world is no longer a romantic place. Some of its people still are, however, and therein lies the promise. Don't let the world win." ---John Cage to Ally (Ally McBeal)

Most of us go through life not knowing what we want, but feeling darned sure that this isn't it. -- Scott Peck

i am having that moment again when i pause to consider how odd it is when i slip into a computer-assisted state of consciousness - where i can completely shut-out my surroundings and feel a depth and an exploration that seems so much more 3 dimensional than the screen i'm sitting in front of. i can just sit and create with a feeling of existing and controlling things within a very real space and environment, though in reality, this space does not actually exist itself. -- anonymous
