When Eve found out about the bet she was embarrassed and turned to Nick Corelli, her mentor (and ex-pimp). With Nick’s help, Eve set it up to look like Jake and his friends were responsible for the alcohol and drugs that were present at a party they attended. Eve gloated when they were arrested.

When Jake and his buddies found that Eve had set them up, they plotted revenge against her and Nick. Jake kidnapped Eve and left Nick a note telling him to meet them someplace outside of town. It was there that Nick and Jake played a game of chicken and to everyone’s surprise, Nick’s car went off a cliff and burst into flames.
