It's alive! It's alive! So maybe it's time for an update some of you might say? Well, ok, maybe a little one.

Today's data feed is pretty much an announcement letting some folks know that yes virginia, there is an REO. Also, that the news and daily commentary have been combined in one handy take home package for easier digestion. Here you'll find the news AND the rantings combined like Voltron to form something that's hopefully fun to read, or make you feel better about your own writing skills. Either way it's a win/win situation.

Recently the semi-shocking announcement came that Enix and Square were to be merged and form some super multi headed beast to gobble up all other RPG poseurs in the land. The real fallout of this has yet to really be seen since it doesn't actually occur until the fitting date of April 1st.

In the meantime there has been a lovely shot of the forthcoming Dragon Warrior 8. It's not really much to go on, but the graphics are now being handled by Factor 5 which does the new Dark Cloud game. Pretty tasty in it's own right. The graphics are signifigant for Toriyama fans because this may bring in the flavor and style of his manga/anime work. To anyone else, well they might just appreciate cel shading...
