Hey kids! Guess what time it is?

Don't look at me! How should I know? It depends on where you live ... but, I do know that if you lived in a particular magical place, it would be ass-frying time! Yah, that's right, that cute, flying, purple dragon we've all come to know and love as Spyro writes in to tell us about his very first and noticeably least complicated adventure in ... well, ass-frying and head butting. Here's what the little guy had to say:

Hi! Spyro here,

"Phew, I'm all out of breath, but now that all the crystallized dragons are back to normal, everything in the Dragon Worlds finally seems to be back in order, especially now that that bad ol' Gnasty Gnorc, the cause of it all, is out of order. That mean Gnasty, he managed to put a spell on all five of our worlds. He didn't leave out the desert, the swamps, the mountains, or even the skies. That's over twenty five different places and all of the Dragon families; the Artisans, Dreamweavers, Peace Keepers, Beast Makers, and even Magic Crafters that were there fell under his control too. As the only one who wasn't stuck in one of his nasty spells, I sure wasn't going to let that ugly Gnorc have his way. I guess Gnasty tried to destroy our worlds because he didn't like the way they looked. They were too bright and cheerful for him. Maybe they were a little sparse and maybe the scenery was a little big and blocky, but they're also vibrant, full of color, and there's always our happy, upbeat songs playing in the background, filling our contented worlds. I'd say everything suits us dragons just fine because some of us are on the blocky side too, if you know what I mean. Gnasty wanted to make the Dragon Worlds a mirror image of his own dark, dirty, grungy Gnorc filled headquarters. Just thinking about it made me shiver.

When I finally managed to show up there and confront him, the scene was worse than I had imagined. Hrmph! But it was no sweat for me and my good dragonfly buddy Sparx, but I can tell you that those bad guys sure were sweating! With Sparx tagging along behind me and making sure the things that I couldn't get too soon enough were picked up, all we had to do was get rid of Gnasty's troops and get back all the dragon's gems and eggs that Gnasty stole. A few times I'd get so eager to get to them though, that Sparx wouldn't be able to grab the items. That's when I had to remember to take things a little easier. Gnasty wasn't going anywhere and sometimes it felt like I wasn't either, because of course he made sure to hide some of the gems in really out of the way places that made little trickier than they should have been. When that happened I had to seek the advice of some very wise people to point me in the right direction, but I'll never say that Gnasty got the better of me. No way!

All it took was a little patience, a little practice, and a little perseverance. Oh, good timing didn't hurt either. Hey believe me, when you're as fast as I am it's almost like driving a race car, but once you get used to the speed it's hard to slow down again. If a camera man had been following me so you could have seen how good my adventure was, he probably wouldn't have been able to keep up. Not to mention he also would've got hung up on all the things I whizzed through when I was inside of buildings and close to trees. But everyone knows it's just not as fun to go slow. Though sometimes it's pretty hard to charge up winding ramps and around tight corners, then try and jump and fly off the end to a very small platform without landing on your tail-end. Try it and see how far you get! Well, I guess you can't because you're not a dragon like me, but if you were you could do all kinds of cool stuff like breath fire (though I do need to brush up on that because I'm not very good at hitting things yet), charge things with your horns, roll, jump really high and fly, or glide actually, I'm still too young to fly, ... so they tell me. The one thing I can't do is swim. If I land in the water, I'm toast! It might have helped if I used a bunch of mechanical equipment and vehicles, but that kind of stuff is for Gnorcs. When you're an all purpose, all terrain dragon like me, you don't need any of those silly mechanical things.

The best thing about frying some big Gnorc butts was how much fun it was! I probably shouldn't say this, but I kind of liked having some excitement in the Dragon Worlds. Some of those old dragons are ... well, they're just pretty old. With so many Gnorcs running around and being in such a rush to stop Gnasty, there wasn't a dull moment to be had. When I managed to get one thing done, it was already time to move onto another. At times I got a little ahead of myself and had to back track, but I had a few fairy friends, the other wise dragons when I freed them, and some good balloonists like Hak and Marco to help me, not to mention remind me about all the things I was suppose to be doing. Sometimes chasing Gnorcs can get to be too much even for me, but on my adventure I even found some ring chases that were kind of like races. Running through those allowed me to take it easy for awhile and put my dragon skills to the ultimate test. Those ring challenges can be pretty hard on their own though, so don't tell anyone, ... but I think I'm better at blasting Gnorcs. Of course nothing beats trying to make yourself better by besting your own times.

That was my adventure! Boy, I'm sure glad we finally got rid of that Gnasty Gnorc, but to tell you the truth it's already getting a little boring around here for my tastes ... and don't tell anyone else this either, but I'm kind of hoping that some more baddies show up soon before all my training wears off. In the mean time though, I have the sneaking suspicion that there just might have been someone filming as I flamed all those horrible Gnorcs. I don't blame them because I'd make a great celebrity, I just hope it wasn't some of Gnasty's spies trying to learn all my moves! But, if any of you happen to see a copy of my adventure somewhere you'd better pick it up. I promise you, if you're the adventuring type, you won't be disappointed! Well, I'd better get back to creating a little mischief here in the Dragon Worlds to keep things exciting. Now if those bad guys would just show up. ..." - Spyro
