REY ADEL & DIOMA'S POETRY
ANTHOLOGY OF POEMLETS:
COLD GOLD

The night did come upon this world
Swallowing all that seeks for gold
For blackness makes the gems cold
But in darkness men grow bold.

The sun faded because it felt old
The luster gone, its heat untold.
Men in greed, truths unfold
His bestiality, now out of mold.

The dawn did come, fast and bold
Like men, he realized all, when told:
Gold glitters but they leave you cold;
Humility and wisdom are better to hold.
