Parameters
- target_name
(NT2000)
- Specifies IP address to test.
Switches
- /?
(NTXP)
- Displays help.
- -4 IPv4
(NT2003)
- Specifies use IPv4 only.
- -6 IPv6
(NT2003)
- Specifies use IPv6 only.
- -g host_list
(NT2000)
- Loose source route along host_list.
- -h max_hops
(NT2000)
- Max number of hops to search. Default 30.
- -i ip_address
(NT2003)
- Specifies the source address.
- -n
(NT2000)
- Don't resolve addresses to hostnames.
- -p period
(NT2000)
- Wait between pings (milliseconds). Default 250.
- -q num_queries
(NT2000)
- Number of queries per hop. Default 100.
- -R
(NT2000 through
NTXP)
- Test if each hop is RSVP aware.
- -r
(NT2000 ONLY)

- Test each hop with Layer-2 priority tags.
- -w timeout
(NT2000)
- Wait timeout for each reply (milliseconds).
Default 1000.
