Discreet and quiet, she remains in a small oratory contiguous to her house. She is accustomed to be unnoticed. But no matter how hard one desires to respect her retirement, it is difficult to keep her name and her extraordinary life in silence since she is the messenger of the Blessed Virgin.
Moreover, the fact of the stigmas is added, which she accepts of very good
will.

Gladys lives in the outskirts of San Nicolas, a city of more than 150,000 inhabitants, located 232 km to the north of the city of Buenos Aires.
Her house is in an adjoining street which ends into "El Campito" or Land of Mary, a primitively uninhabited land, on one of the banks of the Parana river.
Gladys has two daughters and she has been a grandmother for a long time now. His husband is a metallurgical worker who obtained an anticipated retirement in 1989.
Before September 25th 1983, Gladys had never had apparitions, nor had she experienced any extraordinary phenomena of any kind.
Only one antecedent could be mentioned: the day before the first apparition, the 24th of September 1983, the rosary which was hanging on one wall of her bedroom, lightened itself and started to give out flashes of lightning.
Some neighbors also saw it; and they began to pray the Holy Rosary first all together and afterwards she continued alone.
The following day, while she was praying the Holy Rosary, the first apparition took place.
Gladys was a Christian like so many others; she was a normal, solid, realistic and optimistic woman.
The first encounter surprised her but without disturbing her. She was not scared, since immediately she recognized the Blessed Virgin with the Holy Baby, classic and familiar in characteristics, but as in transfiguration, within a bright light.
Sister Marta, of the Daughters of Mary of the Rosary of San Nicolas, says that " Gladys inspires much respect (...). She is very introverted (every day she speaks less) and of great warmth. God has prepared her from the beginning (...)".
Father Perez says that "she is a simple person, modest, pious, who has neither a conscious nor an unconscious tendency to cheat; that is to say, she has a normal psychic and physical health, as the doctors have detected. She has a mission to fulfill: to be a bridge of union, as the Blessed Virgin told once, between Her Son and the people. Her attitude is of deep silence and much reserve; she tells the Church the messages that the Blessed Virgin trusts to her and her mission finishes there".
INNER
LOCUTIONS 
On September 28th, 1987, Gladys asks the Blessed Virgin:
I feel the need to write: " Put your confidence in Christ and He will give His Light to you " After I write I keep thinking; then I see Her and She says to me: You must preach it. I ask Her: Mother, when I write because I feel the necessity to do it, is that an inner locution? She says to me: Yes, because at those moments, you hear the inner voice of My Heart, that speaks to yours. It is another form to communicate with you "
On November 16th 1987 Gladys already recognizes that inner experience and she writes in message Nª 1300:
I have an inner locution. "To abandon oneself in God means: To abandon one's own will and to only wish to do the will of God".
On December 18th of that same year, in message Nº 1323 she says:
I have an inner locution: "Prayer consoles, defends the soul from the evil one and it does not allow the soul to fall into darkness".
:On January 19th, 1988, she expresses:
I have an inner locution:
Oh, Mother of mine,I see Her and She says to me: Those consecrated to me may repeat it.
I am at your feet,
kneeling with immense love,
offering you all of myself,
consecrating my whole life to you.
Keep me within your Heart;
may you be my absolute Owner,
and Guardian of my life.
I know that, united to you,
trusting you fully,
I will reach the Heart of your Son.
Amen.
On June 3rd. 1988, message 1433, she writes:
"In the afternoon, I have an inner locution:
Be humble as the humble;On the 10th of June she writes in message Nº 1438
give love to those who suffer and alms to the poor.
Be charitable with your brethren and the Lord, Who sounds hearts in depth, will have Mercy on the merciful".
In the afternoon, I have an inner locution:
Heart of Jesus, Burning Flame, Flame of Love.On October 1st. Gladys has an inner locution but she does not writes it, but she writes the sweet and hopeful comments of the kind Mother:
Heart of Jesus, Humble Heart.
Heart of Jesus, Loving Heart.
Heart of Jesus, All Fortitude.
Heart of Jesus, Peace of Spirit.
Heart of Jesus, Hope of Christians.
Heart of Jesus, Merciful Heart.
Place your hearts in the Lord; come near to Him, my children, do not doubt a moment and your trust will not be mistrust, I assure you. Do not respond with weariness to my Motherly anxiety. Amen, Amen. Preach it, daughter of mine.
On December 22nd, Gladys writes:
I
have an inner locution:
Seek
the Lord anxiously and abandon your soul in Him.
Three dreams and one inner locution of Gladys, induce the search of the water of the Sanctuary, the one that finally was found when, on June 4th, 1991, the definitive perforation was started.
On December 2nd 1989 while Gladys was talking about the water, she had a strong inner locution and she hears the biblical quote of prophet Ezechiel, chapter 47, verse 1:
"My dear children: Renew your spirits from my Motherly Heart. Renew yourselves in faith and you will obtain the fruits that come to you from the Word of the Lord. You are witnessing the presence of the Mother beside the children. Glory be to God. May this be known".
AUTOMATIC
WRITING
On April 3rd. 1985, during an interview with Dr. Vaamonde, at the request of the Bishop, Gladys tells him:
" The Virgin inspired these prayers to me (she shows him the prayers, asking him to read them) . I wrote them in five minutes, quickly. She made me write that. If it were for me, I would take much time. She takes my hand as if somebody would take my arm. I close my eyes and I see Her in the same way I see you".
"I must tell you that I do not see the Virgin when I want, but when She wants to appear. Sometimes She appears up to three times a day. I may be doing any thing. I never know when She is going to appear. She is the one that imposes Her presence".
"I also see Jesus every 15 or 20 days, I could not say exactly. He has also a strong light. He has a sweet glance and I feel a deep strength that He has. Jesus also gives me messages".
Dr. Vaamonde reports: She reads me a prayer that she wrote without realizing it (automatic writing). Mrs. Motta feels strangeness and admires that text as if it were not her own.
