About the Author

Sheri Le received her MA degree from Colorado State University in December of 2002. Her main scholarly interests include literary/media theory and cultural criticism, cyberspace studies, and writing projects on the Web.

Past scholarly projects focus on the redefinition of "cyberspace" as a culture, and investigating the effects that living in such a culture can have over lives. Her thesis, entitled Rewriting Cyberspace: Collapsing the Boundaries Between Material and Virtual Bodies, focuses on the above topics as they pertain to writing and constructing identity on and off the Internet with a minor focus on fan fiction. She has also published an article in the Spring 2002 Right Stuf International catalog entitled Manga: Evolution.

Sheri currently works as an IT professional at a major high-technology corporation. Some of her personal interests include studio art, creative writing on the Web / Web publishing, RPGs, studying language, culture, and philosophy, and spending time with her family of three.
