WEEKLY BRAINSCAN: 02/04/01

Entry 1: Feb. 4, 2001:Welcome to the new addition of my page entitled the Weekly Brainscan, where I scan my brain and write down whatever is on my mind at this particular moment. Sometimes this page will be used for me to vent, to talk about subjects at hand, or just to write whatever the hell I want to write down. It won't always be coherent, it won't always make sense but it's me and it's how I feel at the moment. Sometimes some of the stuff I write will only be understood by me but I feel that I have to get my thoughts out in writing to understand it a little better.

--------------------

Watched the XFL tonight. Yea, what a fun ride that was. Could the camera angles get any more annoying? It had some decent innovations, such as interviewing the players DURING the game and the opening scramble instead of flipping a coin, but for the most part they have a lot of work to do before they will ever perfect it. Although, it was fun hearing JR and The King announcing the game. JR seemed like he knew what he was talking about, but The King seemed a little bit out of his element. Oh and can someone teach the cheerleaders how to do an actual cheer instead of acting like they are performing in a strip club.

So what the hell is up with the WWF. When was the last time something IMPORTANT actually happened. It seems that since WCW fell by the wasteside 2 years back, that the WWF isn't even trying. I mean how many months in a row did the WWF feed us Rock vs. Triple H before they finally wisen up and changed the programs around. And you know that Vince isn't paying complete attention to the WWF, due to the paragraph up above, the XFL. Vince is paying so much attention to getting this second rate football league off the ground, he forgot what really matters most for his success; the WWF. It took them a year to resolved who hit Austin with that damn car, and when they did revealed it, they gave one of the worst answers possible; Rikishi. I mean, come on, this guy sucks. All he is good for is showing off his humungous ass and sticking it in people's faces. Fun. That got tired after the 1 Zillionth time of seeing it. That angle hit so well that they completely did an about face with it and went with the most obvious choice, Triple H. Just when they were ready to do a face change with him too. Triple H has been a heel since Wrestlemania 15, 1999. It's time for a change. Oh, he's been a great heel, but he was starting to come a great face with his angle against Kurt Angle. There's another angle that the WWF messed up. It was so obvious that Stephanie was going to turn on Triple H and joined with Angle which would have been the right choice but instead they left the angle without a proper ending, which to this day, you still don't know what's going to happen. I've heard of leaving people in suspense but you got to put an end to angles sooner or later, else they get boring. At least they've been pushing Benoit, Jericho, Angle, Edge and Christian, which by all means, is the future of the company.

-------------------

And don't get me started with WCW. How many start overs must they have before they get it right. The New Blood vs. The Millionaires angle was working, but in typical WCW fashion, they screwed it up. Now Bischoff bought out the company from Ted Turner, which means NOTHING IS GOING TO CHANGE. That's right, good old Eric bought out the company just so he can make the same mistakes that he has in the past; pushing the old useless talent over the new youthful talent; pushing friends over the ones who deserved it; and possibly resurrecting an old beat to death angle of the NWO, which I know he's not stupid enough to do. He's already dropped 5 of the women off the roster, 3 of which are the hottest women in the world of Wrestling, Major Gunns, Leia Meow and Pamela Paulshock, among others. I could be wrong and maybe Eric will push the proper talent. I heard he wants to push Billy Kidman, which is a step in the right direction. Kidman is possibly one of the best talents the company has left, since the best talent went up north; Benoit, Jericho, Saturn, Guerrero, Malenko. Push Kidman, Lance Storm, Mike Awesome, Jeff Jarrett, Chuck Palumbo, Sean O'Haire, Chavo Guerrero Jr, & Shane Helms, and you still don't have enough talent to go against the WWF, but hey, it's a start.

---------------

From a start over to the end, it looks like ECW is on it's last ride. They have a pay per view scheduled in March, which could be the last hurrah for ECW. Losing it's TNN deal and not being able to get a new national TV deal has hurt the company. Paul Heyman hasn't been able to pay his talent due to a lack of funds. It's a shame for the wrestling world but the end results could be very interesting. Numerous acquisitions could happen within the next few months. Justin Credible already signed with the WWF, with Yoshiri Tajiri and Rhino not far behind. And there are rumors of Paul Heyman being offered a job as head booker with WWF. This could be the chance that WCW is looking for. They have a chance to add more young talent for their restart when Eric Bishcoff takes over. But they'll screw that up too.

Question: Who cares about Survivor? Stupid ass show.

--------------

XFL Quote of the Week: "Listen to all of that heavy breathing going on in there; it sounds like a prank phone call."

--------------

So why are women so frustrating? Why do they say one thing and do another? I wouldn't be able to figure out women if I lived to be 1,002. "Oh, I'll call you, we'll do something", yet here I sit, stuck on the computer on a Saturday night. Fun. Also, why do girls continue to hook up with their ex boyfriends that treat them like shit? Explain this to me.

------------------

Well I'm done rambling. Until next time...signing off.
