Entry 4: December 1, 2001: Well Karl, if you are reading this, I've finally decided to update like you asked in my guestbook. Anyway, it's been 4 months since I last updated. I've really haven't had much to say or maybe it's more like I really didn't want to come on here and say it. But here it goes.
So to update you on what I was talking about in my last Brainscan, I have quit the job I was working at. I still have not found any other job yet and I've found that since I left The Wall(FYE), I have become quite lazy. I really have to get my butt in gear here. I did accomplished one thing though since I left. I finally got my license after who knows how many years of not having one. However, and you will all laugh at this, the day after I got my license, I got my car(which my brother sold to me for $100 because him and his wife got a new car) registered in my name with new plates, I called on the phone and got insurance, I drove to Pep Boys to get the front headlight fixed that had burned out and I even drove to the Mall to get a Cell Phone just in case anything ever happens to me in the car and I needed to call someone. Finally a reason to have a cell phone because I don't talk much on the phone so I never had much of a reason to get one. Anyway, coming home from the Mall, I am driving down South Ave. when this raccoon runs right in front of my car. So I put on my brakes so I wouldn't kill the poor thing. My headlights were right in his eyes and he gave a look of fright. Well I didn't hit him but the lady who was driving behind me, who I guess wasn't paying any attention, rams right into the back of my car. MY FIRST DAY DRIVING and I get into an accident. WTF! So now I'm carless until my brother(who is an insurance lawyer) can figure out all the details and see how much her insurance company is going to give me to fix the car, if it can be fixed. It might cost more to fix it then the car is worth. If that's the case, it might have to be totaled and then I would end up having to buy a new car. Yippee. Oh, and that cell phone I bought for just such an occassion, well it wasn't charged yet so I couldn't use it. Luckily the lady who hit me had one. Funny thing is she works at Acme next to the Mall I used to work at. That Mall is still giving me troubles even after I leave it.
Whoooo!! Yes, Ric Flair has returned to the WWF. Can he save it? Only time can tell but if I see Vince's ass one more time, I'm going to puke. I've noticed that Vince has brought back the Attitude that the WWF had a couple years ago. Ever since Heyman's classic speech against Vince a few weeks ago where he mentioned that Vince stoled ECW's ideas and called it Attitude, it seems like Vince forgot about the Attitude for a while and decided to bring it back. The funny thing is when he was doing this stuff back in 1998 with Vince Russo, all the wrestling fans seemed to love it. Now that he is doing it again, these same wrestling fans are hating it and furthermore are blaming Russo for starting this trash to begin with even though he has nothing to do with it anymore.
Sidenote: If I hear one more helicopter pass over my house today, I'm going to scream. That damn Army/Navy game is going on today and the President is there so they have all these helicopters flying around. It woke me up this morning when 4 of them flew over my house. 2 of them just flew over my house right now as I am typing this. I didn't know what it was at first. I thought maybe Bin Laden found his way over here and they were searching for him or something. I'm kidding of course.
Anyway, back to what I was talking about before I got sidetracked. So Vince couldn't let his ego die. He just had to officially kill the WCW and ECW on his own pay per view. Chances are you won't see those entities again. However, if Hall and Nash come back in January, we could see the NWO. Maybe there'll be a little more life into it with it being in the WWF. Actually I just want to see the Clique get together and dominate. For those not in the know, the Clique was a backstage group of friends consisting of Kevin Nash, Scott Hall, Shawn Michaels, Triple H, X-Pac and yes, Justin Credible. Imagine if they put all these guys together in a group and put them on TV, how much more interesting the show would be. BTW, Heel Jericho is the only way to go now. He just needs to be the way he was in WCW, the cocky Jericho.
So Christmas is 25 days away. Are you sure because it sure feels like the beginning of Fall outside? It could be the first Christmas where we have the air conditioner on. Anyway, I have no idea what I want this year. I made a list but it was all CD's, DVD's and Playstation games. I haven't decided if I wanted to get the X-Box or Gamecube yet or not. I've heard some good things about both but for the most part I've heard that the X-Box was the most overrated game system launch to date. I'll wait until I can buy them used or something like I did when I bought my Sega Dreamcast for $130 when it was still going for $199. Of course now the Dreamcast goes for $79 so don't I feel like the fool. Oh well, I'll deal.
Well that's all for now. I'll update again later next week or so. I'll try to keep the updates closer together instead of 4 months apart.
