Sykes' Texas Longhorn Cowboy Camp was started by Hal and Diana Sykes because of a desire to teach children about a lifestyle that has been idolized by people all over the world but few have a chance to experience. Cowboy Camp offers children a chance to see for themselves firsthand what it might be like to be a cowboy. Although the Cowboy Camp is not a denominational bible camp, Christian principles are embraced and encouraged among the directors, leaders, counselors and children enrolled for a camping session.
