Our Tour begins in Keel, home of the Minaun Cliffs and the 2.5 mile long Trawmore Strand, one of Achill's five European Blue Flag Beaches.
Travel westwards through Dooagh Village, once famous as the largest village in Europe. Keep an eye out for dolphins; they often come into Dooagh Bay to feed and play. The highest sea cliffs in Europe are on the Northwest side of Croaghan Mountain, at over 2000ft.
In beautiful Keem Bay, see the original homestead of Captain Boycott, whose name became part of the English language. It's said that Saint Patrick, while on the summit of Croagh Patrick on a particularly fine day, caught sight of Keem Bay. He said that no one would ever drown there, and this is still true to today
