To add a little spice to our
chess over the coming months, the Nowhere Men player league will run
once again this season.
In an attempt to make the scoring system more
transparent this year, I have changed it! This is how it will work:

Players will gain 3 points for a win.

Players will gain 2 points for a draw.

Players will gain 1 point for a loss (yes, you get
points for turning up!)

At the end of the season the highest average number
of points scored per game will determine who wins. This will
hopefully account for variations in the number of games played by
each of us.

A minimum number of games (yet to be determined)
will have to be played to qualify for inclusion in the player
league.
