I Coulda Been a Contenda! Figure that looks waaaaaaaaay cool... but wasn't. Omega Supreme, Transformers; Energon. Oh, the agony! It looked so cool! Omega Supreme, one of the mightiest Transformers, returned to wreck havoc on the 'Cons! It transforms into a space battleship and a massive crane/loader thingy! Sounds awesome, massive, powerful... and then you get it... ok... splits down the middle... and... ok, you just split him down the middle and twist this and that... THAT'S IT?!?!??!?!!!! I blew $50 for this?!?!?!?!!! Doh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Sweeeeet! Coolest Feature on a Figure; Armor mode on Landmine and Bulkhead, Transfomers; Energon. It isn't a massive change like what you see in a combiner. The fun part with this format is you get so many options; the merged forms, the separated, forms, the vehicle forms, the works. And the modes are actually practical... well, as practical as a 20' robot that turns into a VW can be.
Pimp My Ride. Best Vehicle. USS Enterpriese 1701-A, Art Asylum. 'Khaaaaaaaaaaan!' Sorry, wrong movie. Just the same, as hot as the Enterprise E and Excelsior look, the classic is still THE ship from Trek. Art Asylum applied their amazing skills with sculpting and painting to give us this gorgeous piece that has super-detailed painting and a ton o' sound and light effects. Coooooooooool!
And the Winnaaaaaaaaaaaa! Best Figure; Silver Centurion Iron Man, ToyBiz, Marvel Legends. This line cannot end; there are too many awesome characters that need to be done, and if they're all this great, KEEP MAKING THEM, PLEASE!!!!!!!! Great character from a pivotal point in the story, a beautiful figure, a butt-kicking accessory, and you can FINALLY FIND IT AT YOUR GENERAL RETAILER!
Do The Cat-Walk. Best Line; Aliens Vs. Predator, McFarlane Toys. There are times when McFarlane makes you want to pull your hair out. You know what I mean; killer sculpts with 'nada' for articulation. Aaaaaaaggggggggghhhhhhhhh!!!!!! This ain't one of those moments. Outstanding sculpts, accessorires up the ying-yang, articulation, everything. Playability AND displaybility. And you can find these ANYWHERE!
