Ramblin' Man; Toy Fair stuff- McFarlane Toys
Ok, so they weren't in NYC peddling their wares.  Just the same, how can you do a Toy Fair piece without Todd's toy machine?  Here are a few high-lights and low-lights from Toy-Fest, the on-line fair McFarlane threw together.

Movie Maniacs- Aliens and Predator
Woohoo!  To go along with the
butt-kicking deluxe two-pack of Alien and Predator, McFarlane Toys unleashes an entire line of Predator and Alien figures from all of the movies.  There are Predator pieces from 'Predator 2' and an AWESOME figure and diorama of the Alien Queen from 'Aliens.'

Good;  Killer Alien Queen... oh heck, killer ALL of them.  Ok, who knows what the articulation is going to be like, but just the same, these figures look sweeeeeeeeeeet.
Bad;  Hey, how about some Colonial Marines to kick some butt as well?  Hey, even that squierrlly Lt. Goreman  wasn't so bad in the end in 'Aliens.'
Ugly;  PRAYING there are no figs from 'Alien3.'

Spawn 24
Ah, the umpteenth incarnation of Spawn is up to bat.  Once more, the principles such as Al Simmons and Maleboglia, are back, but in even MORE disturbing and detailed sculpts.

Good;  Hey, it's McFarlane, so the sculpts have to rock.  I think they kick you out of the country if you can't sculpt well for McFarlane Toys.
Bad; Um... so.... how can you tell which one is Spawn?  They all look like Godzilla figures on acid.  Granted, they're well done, but who's the good-guy in here?
Ugly; Where's Angela?

Matrix- Series 1
Hey, we've ALL been waiting for these.  So, what do these guys have planned for 'The Matrix?'  Well, for series one, there's the triumverant of Neo, Trinity, and Morpheus with nice dioramas to go with them, along with the albino twins.  And an amazing diorama of Neo fighting an Agent on a stair-case in a chateau.

Good; Wow, talk about life-like sculpts.  Hey, if you can't have Carrie-Anne Moss as your date... well.... ANYWAY, the dioramas are also incredible; Neo and Trinity come with dioramas based on the John Woo-esque shoot-out in the lobby.
Bad;  Ok, it's a little early to tell... but I don't think these things have any articulation.  Doh!
Ugly;  What happened to Agent Smith???!?!?!?!?!?!!!!!!!!!!!!!
