Yoda, Jedi Master -Star Wars; Attack of the Clones
Meat and Potatoes; 4.9
Perks; 5.0
Homer Factor; 5.0
Description;  The wizended Jedi Master at his best.

The figure is approximately 2" tall and has Yoda decked-out in his usual tunic and robe.  Articulation is rather limted, with ball-joints in the shoulders and some movement in the hips only.

However, Master Yoda does come with a tiny green lightsaber, 'levitation' platform, and a hunk o' plastic meant to look like force lightening.
Frank Oz is a genius.  ... ok, perhaps I'm overstating things, but he's pretty dang good; director, puppeteer, AND the person who breathed life into a green-skinned elf and made him such a lovable character.  You knew this thing was a puppet, but it didn't FEEL like a puppet.  Movie-goers everywhere saw a wizened, tired, crazy, and brilliant 800 year-old dude who held the power of the universe in his hands... but had no qualms about living in a slimly mud-hole.(Sorry dude, but it IS slimy.)

Now move on to the notorious prequels, and a more spry, but still a bit cranky, Yoda appears.  For decades, we always wondered 'Ok, what's the big deal about this short guy who's a Jedi Master?'  We found out; he's a VERY powerful Jedi Master.  So what kinda figure does he get, in this younger incarnation?  Honestly, one worthy of the most powerful Jedi of all.

Meat and potatoes are nicely done, especially since the usual Yoda figures tend to be so mediocre.  Most of the time, Yoda is sculpted as the sweet little Keibler Elf.  Not this time; there's an annoyed scowl on his little cheeks and both arms are on ball-joints to give a large range of motion.  In addition, the Jedi Master is wearing a nice, flowing robe... well, as flowing as something can be when it's worn by someone three feet tall.

Perks are also very nice.  Yoda comes with a little, green lightsaber with a stellar sculpt and fits very well in the Jedi Masters hand.  He also comes with a blue energy-bolt which attaches to his left hand.  It seems to be some sort of a telekinetic force, since the end of the bolt is shaped like a basket to hold a 'rock'.  Hey, it's a cute extra, so there.  And last but not least, the figure comes with a funky looking stand which is supposed to be his levitation platform you see him tooling around Coruscant in.

Homer Factor?  Very high on this one.  Like I mentioned, most Yoda figures tend to emphasize the cute, elf-ish side of him.  This is the first time you see why he's the deadliest Jedi of all.

In the end, this is a great piece to add to your army of Jedi.  A variety of cool extras and great sculpting makes this an exceptional figure.  And in about two years, we get to see Yoda kick some SERIOUS ass.
