Project Manager

Led a team of 8-10 programmers, analysts and DBAs in the analysis, design, development and deployment of Management Accounting System (MAS) as an “add-on” module to Oracle Financials (Rel. 9).

• Automation of financial and management accounting for the Urban Redevelopment Authority, (URA), of Singapore.
• The Management Accounting module provides the management with critical decision support information regarding the effectiveness and efficiency of resource utilization.
• The system comprises activity based budgeting and cost accounting & management reporting and closely interfaces with the general ledger module of Oracle Financials.
• The Management Accounting Module was designed and developed using Oracle*Case as the operative methodology
   

Led a team of 4-5 programmers in the deployment and user acceptance testing of an Investment Banking System.

• The Singapore government allows its nationals to use the funds accumulated in their provident fund a/c for investment in approved securities. This system facilitated the management of these transactions and holdings in the customers’ investment accounts.
• The Investment Banking System was designed, developed and implemented for the Keppel bank in Singapore.
