A summary of the changes made to the BESM2 rules.

Action Resolution - In standard BESM2 is done by rolling under a Stat on 2d6 and having difficulty and skill modify the roll.  I don't like "roll under" systems, so it was changed to a roll of 2d6 + Stat + Skill vs a Difficulty.
Derived Stats - New derived stats have been added
Psyche - called Psyche added and is used instead of Energy to track all mental, spiritual, and psychological damage done to a character.  Psyche was added because I didn't like the idea of using your powers making you more susceptible to mental domination.
Dodge - Instead of rolling to defend yourself, characters have a passive defense for the various types of attacks (Ranged, Close, and Mental).
Physical Combat - Unless to take an action to do so, you never roll to defend yourself.  Instead characters have several Dodge scores which are difficulties to hit them.
Mental Combat - All mental combat does damage to Psyche instead of Energy.
Skills - Some are slightly changed, new ones were added, and the cost for the Eternal War was set.
Attributes - Some of these are changed and new ones have been added.
Defects - Some of these are changed and new ones have been added.
Powers - This replaces Magic, Dynamic Sorcery, and Magical Defects from standard BESM2.
Armor - The Hidden option for Heavy Armor and Light Armor only applies to equipment (Item of Power, OBM, Personal Gear).  If a character purchases it on their own, its appearance can be whatever they want.  If you always look strange (metal skin or whatever), take a Defect.
Muscle Powered - Not just for Mecha anymore.  Any character that wants to apply Super-Strength to a Melee attack must take this.  Also get to take the Melee disadvantage.
