JoAnna Mendl Shaw and I will be co-teaching a Dancing with Horses clinic sometime next spring. No details yet but I think this clinic will be so fun that they might pass laws to make it illegal. :-) February 26- March 1, 2009 Pennsylvania Horse World Expo I was a clinician at the Horse Expo this year. Most seminars only have have a few people in attendence- I'm pleased to say mine was packed! I was the first clinican in the round pen Saturday morning, so I didn't have very high hopes, but within ten minutes it was standing room only around the pen!!! It was an excellent experience. Various Clinics We give many lessons and small clinics throughout Pennsylvania, so if you are interested call and we'll let you know if there are any small clinics Directions to Shale Knoll ArenaFrom US-81 take exit 85a onto Rt 934 SouthOff Rt 934 turn right at Harper's Tavern (red brick building) onto Old Jonestown Rd. After passing the township building (on left) make your second left onto Sherks Church Rd. Go 0.4 miles and Shale Knoll arena will be on your left. There are no signs out front, but there is a long double driveway and you can easily see the covered arena from the road. The arena does not have a street address but if you want something to plug into Yahoo Maps or Mapquest use 170 Sherks Church Rd, Annville PA and it will get you close enough you'll definitely find it! Directions to TLC StablesFrom the intersection of route 743 and route 22, take route 743 North. At the next light make a left onto Old Jonestown Road. After the VFW make a right onto Manada Gap Road. The East Hanover Municiple building and park will than be on your left. (Do not confuse Manada Gap Rd with Manada Bottom Rd!) After going under the underpass of Route 81 make your next left onto Rabbit lane. Make the first left onto Fair Lane. Fair Lane is a dirt road and a no outlet that goes directly into TLC stables. Car parking is on the far side of the barn. Trailers CAN make a full loop around the barn. Trailers can park behind the indoor or along the lane. If you park behind the indoor please watch the power lines! |
