Also at this site, I'll feature the broadcast lineups of various TVG editions, current and classic. These lineups are available where linked.

How To Get The TVGs You Want

The best place to get older issues are antique shops, especially antique malls and those that deal with "retro" collectibles; check your yellow pages under "antiques".

You can also order old or new TVGs by mail; "TV Guide Specialists" has back issues of just about every US TVG ever printed. Send US$3.00 for a catalog to:
TV Guide Specialists
P.O. Box 20
Macomb, IL 61455

Where newspaper TV magazines are concerned, the best place is the local newsstand or library. Keep in mind, though, that not all newspapers publish TV magazines on Sunday (Saturday in most Canadian papers); some don't publish a magazine at all (though they publish listings inside one of the sections). Also, some papers may omit the magazines and other "extra" material (coupons, ads, and, in some cases, comics) before shipping the papers out-of-town. Another good source are other collectors; click here for links.

For old back issues: if it's just the listings you want from your local papers, most libraries have back issues of newspapers on microfilm. For a broader range of newspapers, or if you're actively collecting these as collector's items, "TV Guide Specialists" has a catalog for supplements as well (also $3); see above to order.
