I thought I would make a site of some of the special patches of my heart.These are a few of the things that have a special place in my heart.The most important patches are my husband,my children,and my cats.They are all discussed in great detail on my family site.I will add a link to it so you may go there also.The military and law enforcement has a big chunk of my heart.My husband served proudly in the U.S Army and the USAF.He went into law enforcement after his tour in the USAF. In addition to my husband,children and cats,all children and pets everywhere have a special place in my heart.Their is a softness in my heart for them because they are the innocent among us.They are dependent and trusting.I get very upset when I see child or animal abuse of any kind.Many of the stories and poems on this site are about the innocent little children and pets.

I wear my heart on my sleeve.When I read a touching story I have to wipe away the tears.Below are two such poems dealing with the love between a man and his wife.
We all hate to see the day when our little ones go out into the cruel world.It is our responsibility to teach them of the dangers that they may be exposed to.There are predators on the internet.Parents inform your children how to use the internet.Supervise them when they are surfing the web.Inform them of the dangers of drinking and driving.It is also important that they not be in a vehicle while another person is under the influence.Have them call home for a ride.Below are tragic stories that will set every parent's hair on end.
We must all protect and care for The Little Ones.They are all Precious Gifts From God.
Another patch of my heart is my pets.I love all animals.I am a strong supporter for an end to animal abuse.They accept us as we are.All they ask in return is a little love. I am a strong advocate for No Kill Animal Shelters.
If you like cats you are in for a special treat.Kittys are the Purrfect Pets.
Our kittys had all been abandoned.They give us so much love and are so sweet.They have their very own home on the web.A link will be provided so that you may go and visit them.We are sure it will bring a smile to your face.
I also love dogs.My dogs are at Rainbow Bridge now.I found a very touching story of a little boy and a puppy.I hope you like it also.
Anyone who has ever lost a pet knows the heartbreak of such an experience.

There are so many children in our country that are neglected and abused.Violence has taken over our schools.The Save the Children page also has a memorial to all those who were killed in the school shootings.
