20 Year Class Reunion

All about the RHS Class of 1980 20 year class reunion.

Over 200 of our classmates attended the reunion, which was held the weekend of June 23rd, 24th, and 25th, 2000 at the Edgewater Beach Resort in Panama City Beach, Florida.

Reunion Activities

Here's what we did:

Informal gathering by the pool Friday night
Beach party Saturday morning and afternoon
Buffet-style dinner banquet Saturday night

And here are some unofficial activities:

Dive trip Sunday morning
The weather for the Sunday dive was beautiful, the seas were less than one foot. The boat was about a 40 footer. The two dives we did were the Black Bart and a sunken LCAC hovercraft. Hard to get used to this kind of diving when you learned on endless reefs.

Golf Sunday morning
The low round went to Cecil Andrews of Austin, Texas with an "82". He's a definite sandbagger! The course was great and everyone had a really nice time. Several of us got to shake hands with Bobby Bowden (the enemy) while checking in ... gotta have respect I guess. Here's who participated: Cecil Andrews, Donna Andrews, Ricky Bozeman, Mike Monahan & guest, Glen Frye, Jim Wilson & guest, Todd Walker, Marty Lehtio, EJ Lehtio & guest. I think I missed someone ... sorry but I lost my sign in sheet. I know there are many more golfers in our class, hopefully we'll have a better turn out next time!
