Right now, I am deeply looking into Alpha 3 and it is on the border line of being bought. First, if this game is a direct port, then there is no point of me getting it. We will need to see how much Capcom will add, and I think they will do a good job. Just look at Super Street Fighter 2 X Revival. They added a whole bunch of secrets, splendid character art, 2 new modes, and super combos. They'll just need to tweak the vs. point system from SSF2TXR a bit. King of Fighters I have just recently gotten into the King of Fighter series and really enjoy it (although not as much as SF). First off, the screenshots seem to really amaze me. Graphics are so simliar to the Dreamcast King of Fighters. Secondly, I am looking foward to again, the story, as it will take place between KOF 97 abd 99. This game is still pretty early in development, so I don't know many details. However, I hope they make it 4 on 4 fighting, so I can use classic teams, with all 4 people, and not three. :-) Sonic Advance Sonic once again makes another return to a portable system, this time for the Game Boy Advance. So far, this is looking to be one heck of a game. It is a brand new Sonic game, and not just some port like most GBA games so far. The game will feature 4 playable characters: Sonic, Knuckles, Tails, and Amy. Thank god there is no word on any other playable characters. Just look what happened to Sonic Adventure for the DC. :-( (Big the cat) My thinking is that you really can't go wrong picking this game up. I mean it's Sonic, meaning fast paced action, lots of speed, and skillful levels. If this wasn't enough, Sonic Team has also added 2 player modes including Chao Hunts. This is turning out to be a very solid game. Advanced Wars It's about time we got a good strategy game on the GBA. Advance Wars is looking really nice espicially since I'm a fan of pure strategy games (Sangokushi VII). While details about the game are still shaky, it will probably take a lot of strategy, since the tutorial takes 3 hours!! It seems that you are commanding an army of tanks, jets, submarines and other military units, and deploy them at your command. You will also need resources to keep military units up and running. There seems to be many levels and even a one cartridge multiplayer mode to keep you playing for a long time. Keep your eye on this game. Advanced Columns The game is turning up to be a really nice looking puzzle game. It's a nice game to take on the road, since it's a tetris puzzle game and therefore will last you a long time. So far there are 3 different modes in Sega's puzzler and cool 26 different items that harm enemies. ![]() Golden Sun: Being the RPG fan that I am i am extremely excited over Golden Sun. I was very dissapointed when no rpgs when the GBA was released, and when there didn't seem to be any other rpgs in the near future. This is supposebdly the first Rpg for the GBA (if you don't include Mega Man EXE) Greath Graphics along with a compelling story line will definetely make this game IMO a must get. Breath of Fire: Having missed out on this game during the SNES era, I am extremely excited about this Capcom Rpg. From what I've heard, people who have played it for the SNES state it was a very worth addition to their collection. Street Fighter 2 Turbo Revival: I am not the biggest fan of 2d fighters but I do enjoy them. If this game is even half as good as SF 2 was for SNES then I will proabaly get this game. Tactics Ogre Gaiden: The Knight of Lodis: The only game I played from this series is Ogre Battle 64 which I really enjoyed. From what I have seen the game is good and is supposed to have even better graphics than Tactics Ogre for the SNES and PSX. Magical Vacation: This game is being made by the same people who brought you Legend of Mana. This game is supposed to be a "Communication Game" but no one knows what that means yet. I am really interested in what this game will be like, and how similar it will be to The Legend of Mana. ![]() Street Fighter 2 Turbo Revival: Though I am not the biggest Street Fighter fan, I still enjoy playing the games. The last street fighter game I owned was Street Fighter 2 Turbo, which I enjoyed. So, if this game turns out to be an at least average fighter than I probably will pick it up. Tactics Ogre Gaiden: The Knight of Lodis: I am really looking forward to this game. The only game I owned in the series is Ogre Battle 64 which I enjoyed playing through. I will most likely pick this game up, since I would like to see more of the story unfold. Fire Emblem: I am definitily considering buying this game. This RPG/Strategy game looksvery interesting and it distinctly reminds me of Ogre Battle. This game is right up there with Tactics Ogre, and I'm not sure which one I will pick up. I guess I'll just wait to see if it comes out in the US. King of Fighters: I am looking forward to this game and considering whether to pick it up, because I enjoyed the game for the Dreamcast Console. Right now, I am trying to decide to pick up this or a Street Fighter Game. If it is similar enough to KOF: Evolution in terms of replay value and solid gameplay I am going to buy this game. ![]() Mega Man Exe: This game was the first game that had a spotlight in my mind. The battle system looks almost as nice as a hot fudge sundae. The idea of multiplayer also appeals to me very much. Tactics Ogre: The only reason I want this game is because my friends hyped the prequel sooooo much (Ogre Battle 64) that I figured it must be as good or better for gba. Mario Kart Super Circuit: I am a big fan of racing games ( kart racers and realistic racers) even though most of my other friends hate them. Everytime I played Mario Kart 64 at my friends house I had a blast. And I know this game will also be a blockbuster F14 Tomcat : I really enjoy flight simulators (combat) and I know this game will fall into my categories of a great game. Multiplayer, great missions, blasting other planes?its all good. |
