The person who wrote the review, will be giving their opinions once in a while with the review, backed up with actual facts of the game. Comments underneath the review are opinions written by other members about the game. Therefore, you should find the site member you feel you are closest to (Gaming Wise) and read their comments and scores for a good idea of if you would like the game. Here is how we score our games: Gameplay: 30% Gameplay is obviously a key part of the game. Without it, most games would definetely fall apart. Categories involved in gameplay would be controls, how the game plays, and how enjoyable it is. Replay Value: 40% Replay Value is probably the most key part of the game. The fact is, certain games may have average gameplay, but if the replay value is good you will get your money's worth anyways. Categories involved in replay value would include different modes, secrets, codes, and options besides the main quest. Graphics: 10% Most people know that graphics aren't a key part of games, but they definetely make the game more enjoyable. Categories in Graphics include looks, appearance, layout, animation. Sound: 10% Music is a pretty key part of any games. They give you a feeling and gets you in the mood. Whether it's the Epic mood of RPGs, or the Rockin Pop of sports games, music and sound will definetely add to a game's value. Categories in Sound include music, sound effects, flow, effectiveness, and how suitable it is to the game. You wouldn't want a spooky game to have perky, happy music now would you? Reviewer's Opinion 10% We decided to add a reviewer's opinion to help you decide whether or not you would like the game. Reviewers will base this on how much they enjoy the game. Overall Score When all of these seperate scores are calculated, we come out with an overall score. Each person will have their own overall score, therefore, you can decide which reviewer you would like to go with. Overall Scores may vary greatly, as our reviewers all have different ideas on games. Our final score is based on 10. The following is how you should interpert our final scores: 9-10 The game should be picked up by all people when possible. This means that the game is a well rounded package. 8-8.99 Most people should like the game, and will definetely appeal to hardcore fans of the series. 7-7.99 Probably should only be picked up by the hardcore fans of the series. Would make a decent game to maybe hold you off. 6-6.9 Should only be picked up by extreme hardcore fans, as there are many flaws, and some decent pros. 5.9 or lower This game really sucks, and should not be picked up by anyone. Only vram would like these kind of boring, dull games. :) |
