富豪B10M第四型自1995年起投入服務,跟第三型不同之處,就是其空氣冷卻器是置於頭軸左邊以後的位置。第一批投入服務的富豪B10M第四型,是裝配都普車身,樣子跟第三型相似,配富豪THD101GD引擎;隨後的第二批則改用亞歷山大Strider型車身,而第三批則配新設計的都普DM3500車身,兩者均採用富豪THD102KF引擎。所有的B10M第四型巴士都使用ZF 4HP500四前速波箱,以及採用德國超卓空調系統。

    The Volvo B10M Mk4 fleet has entered service since 1995. The major difference between Mk3 and Mk4 is that an intercooler is located behind the front axle on the nearside for Mk4. The first batch, with Duple bodywork which resembles that of Mk3, is equipped with Volvo THD101GD engine. The second batch with Alexander Strider body and the third batch with newly designed Duple DM3500 body are both powered by Volvo THD102KF engine. ZF4HP500 gearbox with 4-speeds and Sutrak air-conditioning system are fitted to all Volvo B10Ms Mk4.

SBS982S是新捷運第一批的富豪B10M第四型巴士之一,裝上了都普車身,空調系統是由德國超卓供應。
