Man Figure
Made out of wood, this is a very popular form of art in Africa.  The artist usually exaggerates the height of the human figure and gives it a dirty look to symbolize the ruggedness of Africa.  These figures can range from this one of 22cm to human height and taller.  Most of the statues depict a career like an African businessman in this case or doctor, policeman, mother, and so on.  Most markets will have these figures of all sizes depicting all kinds of careers lined up in stalls.
