The Birmingham Bulls

Birmingham hockey generally means Bulls hockey.  The Bulls have had several incarnations, the most notable in the late 70's and in the 90's.  The Bulls of the World Hockey Association played 3 seasons from 1976 to 1979.  After that, the organization played 2 seasons in the Central Hockey League.  Another version popped up in the Atlantic Coast league for only three games in 1983.  The most successful installment of Bulls hockey operated in the ECHL from 1992-2001.
