Feel free to send card and letters to Samwise as she is on the trail.
In fact, you are encouraged to do so. =)

The following table lists the addresses for mailing items to her. You should mail them by the listed "SEND BY" date to ensure that she receives them.

Be sure to address it with her full name, C/O the hostel, or "General Delivery" if a Post Office.
Write on the envelope "HOLD FOR A.T. HIKER".

Please check with her (or me) before sending gifts (or anything other than cards/letters or food). It’s not that she won’t appreciate them, but when you have to carry everything strapped to your back, every pound or ounce adds more weight and wears you down.

Cards, Letters and food are always appreciated though!
