What are Emulatorsm and Roms?
We had to make this page because people kept and asking questions and didnt know what emulators and roms were. Back in the 80's and 90's There was the Nintendo Entertainment systen super nes Game Boy Genesis Neo geo ect.... Well people at home would make games for these systems. and there would also be beta testers that would search for bugs. An emulator is a system software. Like a Nintendo for your computer. Each system has an emulator from turbo grafix 16 to nintendo 64. The Emulator would play on a pc there are many kinds for each system. Rage for genesis and nesticle. Well all the arcade machines have emulators as well. The name of them is called the mame and mame32 emulator. You could play all your old arcade fav games on your computer. Now the reason for roms was to have a backup for your original cart. Now a Rom is the actual game. The cart. There are some custom roms out there for super nes that are great. Alot of games in japan never made it to the us. Go to google and find yourself some emulators and roms and have a good time or download them off kazaa. Emulators are soo much fun. I myself play games I own but Have been destroyed over time;. Old game boy games like motocross maniacs and I play some old nes games from japan. Go get yourself the mame32 you will like it. Or get nesticle or rage or the neo geo emulator is very nice.
