Certificate in Biblical Studies  
This degree is for those who have no prior classes in Theology and would like to get a fundamental education in the Word of God.  It is also for those who have no lower division college work that is transferable. In other words, if a student has a AA at a community college, they qualify in taking upper division courses at Summit Bible College and may bypass these courses, upon counselor approval. (Note: Most students that have no theology background, or who are new believers are required to take these courses for foundational purposes.)

We are able to credit courses from other accredited colleges in part, up to 50% or 30 units of lower division courses.  Such classes may include, either theological classes or secular, non-theology courses such as: English, Math, Accounting, Psychology, Speech and the like. For details and an analysis the student must have transcripts sent from their prior college.  Sealed, official transcripts must be mailed from the previous colleges that the student wants considered for transfer. There is a fee for this transfer of credits, (see fee schedule).

The following classes must be taken during the time period they are offered.  This includes both correspondence and day class students.  There is a leeway time for correspondence students.  Please read the following. 

There is a Four-Quarter Schedule.  The student would be able to complete the Certificate in Biblical Studies in Two (2) quarters if the student was taking a full load of five (5) classes. All Books are approximately $15. (Note: Extra shipping and handling may be required depending on the location of shipping.)

109	Spiritual Warfare
110	Gifts of the Holy Spirit
