The Marine Corps is the personal combat arm of Starfleet. While Star fleet has many objectives: exploration, medicine, combat and diplomacy, the Marines have only one; to be soldiers. Marines on Starbase Tango are used as emergency peacekeeping forces, to assist Security during emergency situations, planetary assault teams, assisting in natural disasters, providing extra (specialty) security on away teams, honor (VIP) guards.

1- Artillery
Each Platoon has approximately 100
officers and troops.
