METROPOL CAFÉ, POLCENTER
1998 yılında İstanbul’un en yeni alışveriş merkezlerinden birisi olarak faaliyete geçen Polcenter, gökdelenlerin, tower binaların arasında 52 dükkandan oluşan 15.000 metre karelik alana kurulmuş bir merkezdir. Müşterilerinin büyük bölümü çevredeki bankalardan ve şirket ofislerinden gelmektedir. 3 katlı bir alışveriş merkezi olan Polcenter’ın arkasında ayrıca ofislerden oluşan 2 tower bina yükselmektedir. Dünyanın ünlü markalarının bulunduğu merkezde ayrıca fast food restoranları ve caféler hizmet vermektedir. Yarışmanın düzenlendiği “Metropol”, Polcenter içinde modern-art stilinde döşenmiş ünlü bir restoran cafédir.
One of Istanbul’s youngest shopping centres, Polcenter, which opened in 1998 in the middle of the business district among skyscrapers, has 52 shops and covers an area of 15,000 square metres. The majority of its customers are from the banks and companies which have offices in the area. Polcenter is a small three storey shopping centre over which are two large towers containing office premises. Many famous brand name goods from around the world are to be found here, plus fast food restaurants and cafés. The venue for the contest is a modern-art style restaurant-café called “Metropol”.
