The fine image to the left was the leading vote getter in the August 97 Hall of Fame Ballot As a visitor to Toronto several years ago I remember being captivated by the unique architecture and setting for this building. To capture that atmosphere as a Scurk Image is indeed a fine accomplishment. Slug's own description of this fine image follows " The Toronto City Hall, completed in 1965, cost about $30 million to create. The two curving office buildings surround the circular city council chambers. The City Hall is in Nathan Phillips Square, and directly outside stand the Freedom Arches, not depicted in this picture.
