SERVICE FOR THE HANDICAPPED

MANONETHRA SERVICE FOR THE HANDICAPPED is a Helping Hand for the Handicapped. The service project is inaugurated by Sri Suryanarayanaraoji Akhila bharatiya karyakarini sadasya on 14th of oct 2001. The man behind the service projects countrywide. Though the work has been in progress for the past one year in the hostels for the blinds of the twin cities this will mark a milestone and a new direction in the service

The Work So far: We could create a little awareness and link up 60 people of different disciplines as Scribes and recording audio books for the Visually Handicapped. There has been 290 Audio books that were distributed among 100 and odd children and about a 50 children are being provided with scribes for their examination.
Children of classes from 10th to Degree and competitive exams are also assisted with all support.
The Challenge: Over 12% of Indians are Handicapped
Our Initiative: Give a HELPING HAND TO LET THEM STAND UP ON THEIR OWN

The Solution: Public Awareness and Support in times like Voluntary Blood and Eye Donations, Staying along to assist them in times, Be a Voluntary Scribe To write the Exams (they Dictate), Record The cassettes so that they can listn and learn.

4. Just Spread The Message of the good work in the direction

Is working Closely with the BHARATH VIKAS PARISHAD to Distribute Artificial Limbs

* has a Writing Club
