Introduction
2 The criteria for satisfaction and how educational institutions can fulfill them

Once it is understood that human beings must be satisfied in order to live peacefully we must define the criteria for this satisfaction. What first comes to mind is health and wealth. Wealth is expressed in a more or less high living standard which can be achieved through a high rate of employment. However, mental satisfaction is important as well, so, employed or unemployed, one must be active (even the Romans realized the central role of 'bread and games') and not be left in the dark about what is happening around oneself and elsewhere. A grateful attitude will follow partially from the fulfillment of the other criteria but must also be enhanced by people that are around when one grows up and grows mature.
