Passion Cake
INGREDIENTS | ||||
CAKE | ICING | |||
7oz Vegetable oil | 7oz full fat soft cheese | |||
7oz Grated carrot | 3.5oz Icing Sugar | |||
6oz Sugar | 3.5oz Margarine | |||
2 Eggs | ||||
3oz Nib Walnuts | ||||
6oz wholemeal self-raising flour | ||||
2oz self-raising flour | ||||
Dash of cinnamon | ||||
METHOD |
||||
1. In a large bowl blend together oil, carrots, sugar, eggs, chopped walnuts, flour and cinnamon | ||||
2. Divide the mixture between two 7" cake tins and bake for 35min at 180degrees C. | ||||
3. Cool before turning out | ||||
4.Whisk together the ingredients for the icing and use to sandwich cake halves and ice top and sides |
