(01-05)

01 "The Place of Memories"
"Natsukashii basho" (なつかしい場所)

Years ago, a group of kids bid goodbye to a friend of theirs who is about to leave town with his parents. One of them each give him a goodbye present. A girl makes a cake. A boy gives him a fishing lure that look like a frog. His female twin gives him one handmade glove. And lastly, another girl made a song for him. She began to play the song with her violin. Even though it is only half the song, that leaves an impression on the boy that when he return one day back to the town, he will still remember that song. And he did. On his way back on the train, the scenery of a distant past is revealed to him once again. As the train passes by the landscape that has once said goodbye to him and now welcoming him back, he started to remember the memories he has with his group of childhood friends of the past. Upon arrival, Sana Hidaka discover how the place has remained unchanged for five years. But soon he realize bit by bit that the town did change in its own way. Deciding to tour around the town, he soon find himself reaching a shrine. There, he remember the time he give a pair of flower hair band to someone named Nanaka Yatsushiro. The next thing he knew, he saw someone, a beautiful shrine maiden standing nearby with a broom. But once she knew that he is looking, the girl turned away. Not minding that, Sana decide to get a written fortune for himself and find a scary looking priest at the counter. As it turn out, his fortune isn't going that good at all. It appear he is about to have some relationship problems with girls. Just before he left, Sana get to see the shrine maiden again. It appear that she is spying on him. Then again, Sana did not give it much thought.

He soon arrives at a house owned by one of his childhood friends. And the one who welcome him at the door after he pressed the doorbell is none other than Aoi Oribe, that childhood friend of his. He is stunned to see her completely changed wearing a pair of spectacles and having a pair of noticeable assets. Aoi just think that it is the spectacles' fault but Sana, in order to make her happy, said that she look good with the glasses. Aoi, as expected, is happy to hear that. They then head to the place where Sana will live as of today. Aoi volunteer to unpack his stuff for him but Sana refused, not wanting Aoi to find out about the eroge stuff. Aoi is left dumbfounded. She then give the key to the room and left, saying that she will help him with anything as long as he asked. Sana is relieved that Aoi did not manage to find out about his little secret. He went shopping next. When he is heading back with his stuff, Sana walk past a bookstore where Aoi often visit to read books for free. He notice one book interesting and decide to take a look at it when he notice Aoi trying to take the same book from him as well. She began to explain how good this book is and Sana is left speechless. It appear that Aoi is truly interested in books and almost told Sana everything that he need to know from that book itself. Despite that Sana still bought it. He is truly convinced that Aoi's love for books has never changed. Wondering whether he would cook for himself today, Aoi then suggested to him that he will come to her house and eat. Sana agreed.

During dinnertime, a feast awaited him. The father of Aoi wonder how old he is. Sixteen is Sana's response. The mother of Aoi then arrives wondering whether he would be their son-in-law. The response from the father is classic. The mother immediately diminished the embarrassment from both Aoi and Sana as well as the worry from the father, saying that she is merely joking. Aoi, despite being embarrassed, does feel that it will be great and is happy that he has truly returned. Sana return back to his room after that. He wonder how Nanaka would have changed just like Aoi. And then the phone rang. Sana find out that it is from her mother. He isn't very pleased about that. The next day, Sana appear to have overslept. Aoi came to his room hoping to come to school with him but he has just woke up and met her at the door without wearing too much clothing. Sana immediately went to change with Aoi waiting for him outside. As it turn out, a properly dressed Sana find out from Aoi that she herself has overslept and just wanted to check if the same thing happen to him. Sana reply by saying that it is okay to go to school late since today is the opening ceremony. Aoi is stunned. 

Since she never eat breakfast today, Aoi decide to make some for herself as well as Sana right now. They head to school after that arrive at the staffroom before Aoi departed. Just before she did, Aoi asked Sana not to tell anyone about what happened this morning. Sana agreed. It did not take long before a teacher arrives. Apparently, she happen to be his homeroom teacher and arrive to the class with her. After introducing herself to the class, she then have Sana enter the classroom and introduce himself. Once he enter, he is immediately recognized by Syusuke as well as Syuri. The teacher, Yuzuki Fujimura, wonder why they know him and Syusuke explained fluently. The three later have a conversation with each other and Syuri ask why Sana has returned. Sana is reluctant to answer her though. Then, Sana spot the shrine maiden walking towards them at this moment in time. Sana thought that she is just one of his ordinary classmates and for that, she earn a slap on the face by her. Sana soon realizes that the shrine maiden is none other than Nanaka with the flower hair band noticeable on her right wrist. Sana is utterly astounded.

02 The Important Melody
"Taisetsu na melody" (大切なメロディー)

Sana is seen waking up after dreaming about a nicer Nanaka. He prepares to go to school and is about to start his day with the trek there when Aoi call out to him. But before she can reach his side, Aoi tripped. Thankfully, Sana is there to catch her before she fell to the ground. While on their way to school together, Sana wonder how she manage to trip herself when there is nothing to trip her at all. Aoi think that he is praising her and become a bit proud of herself. Sana began to think that Aoi hasn't really changed at all except for her physical features. That is when he hear her calling him. Aoi warn that he should be well aware of his surroundings and not know where he is going when she knocked on the lamppost herself. Sana wonder who need to do that in the first place.

At school, they met Syuri and Syusuke. When Syusuke address Aoi to fit her age, Sana realize that Aoi is actually one year older than them, wondering if he should stop addressing her with -chan but do the same thing as Syusuke did and call her with -san. Just then, Nanaka arrives. She notices Sana and ignore him completely. Sana felt bad because of her cold reaction towards him. In class, Sana wonder whether she should have any reason to be really that angry about him for not recognizing her right on the spot. During lunch, Syuri, Syusuke and Sana failed in accomplishing Operation Buy the Bread First. Sana is even fooled by Syuri and Syusuke to think that they will do desperate acts to achieve their aim. It appear they are not stupid after all. They did push their way into the crowd though. After they have gotten the bread what they can, the three with Aoi ate at the courtyard of the school. Aoi is wearing her apron again, stating that she is just afraid of making her school uniform dirty while eating. Back to class, Yuzuki attempt to find her class representatives for both male and female. She had Nanaka as the female representative and tries to get Syusuke as the male. But Syusuke refuses. He, instead, volunteer Sana to be the male representative, stating the fact that Sana has always want to be the leader while playing with them when they were children. Sana tries to defend himself by saying that they were children then. But soon, Syuri tries to volunteer Sana as well. After much thought, Yuzuki eventually decide that Sana will be the class representative as volunteered. No one object to that.

After school, not knowing where the audio and visual room is where the committee meeting for all class representatives is, Sana tries to go there with Nanaka. She just coldly tell him to do as he liked. Sana eventually follow her to the library where he met Aoi as librarian on duty. He tries to address Aoi using -san but is rejected by Aoi. She seems to prefer him calling her -chan instead. Sana then ask why she is here. Aoi just state the obvious. She assume that he came here with Nanaka and she is right. She ask him to kill time the same way as Nanaka did to wait for the committee meeting to start. Apparently, Nanaka did the same thing last year. Sana did took Aoi's advice but soon realizes that Nanaka has left him there to head to the committee meeting alone later. Just as Sana wonder why she would do such a thing, someone, who manages to hear him saying that he is going to the committee meeting as well, opt to help Sana out. Asami Hoshino apparently is a class representative and ask whether he would go with her. Sana accept her offer. While on the way there, Asami find out that he is a transfer student instead of what she think of him as a freshman. They eventually reach the audio and visual room packed with people where Sana spot Nanaka. He immediately walk towards her direction and sit down next to her, asking why she would abandon him at the library just now. Nanaka just say that she has never agree to take him here at all. But she is impressed that he can still get someone to get him here. Sana is just speechless when she said that. Back home, Sana wonder why Nanaka is behaving like this in front of him. Then the phone called. It happens to be Sana's mother who called, being concerned about her son. Their conversation gives a feeling that Sana did not return back to town entirely because of his studies.

Back in school, Sana wonder if he is going to have to compete with other students just to buy some bread again. Syuri tries to motivate him but it turn out that he did not need to do so. Apparently, Aoi came to see him at that moment in time, sending him a homemade bento for him. She said that she has prepared this for him since he is living alone and no one actually can prepare that for him. She promise to make bento everyday for him. When having lunch, Syuri find out from Sana about the trouble he had with Nanaka yesterday after school. She said that she volunteer him to be the class representative simply because to give him some time with Nanaka. Sana then ask them why Nanaka has become like this. Nobody dares to tell him at all. And then, an incident happened.

Back in class, Asami seems to have something to give to Sana. Since he is not around, she decided to ask Nanaka to give that to Sana later. Nanaka does not seem pleased. Then, Sana return to the classroom and saw Asami. They have a conversation just by the door of the classroom where Asami tell Sana that whatever she wants to give him is with Nanaka right now. Sana went to collect that from Nanaka and tried to explain. But Nanaka just commented that she didn't care at all. Music lesson is up next. The teacher plays some classical music that is done with the violin. Sana remember the time Nanaka last played the violin in front of him. Later, Sana forget to bring back his pencil case at the music room and went to get it. At the same time, Nanaka is tasked to bring something from the music room to the music teacher. Sana came to the room first and eventually found his pencil case. He then notice a piano in the room and decide to play a tune similar to the one Nanaka played with her violin before he left the town. Meanwhile, Nanaka herself find the thing the teacher seeks. But at that moment, Sana, who is at the other room right next to hers, played the piano. She recall that he is playing the same tune and is stunned to find that out. After Sana finished playing, he find out that Asami is listening. She came in asking the name of this song. Sana just responded that it didn't because it is a song composed by a friend of his as a present before he left town. He states that even though he has never played piano for a long time, he can still remember this song. Nanaka is truly touched by that. Because of this, she finally take some steps to forgive him.

03 "Cookies and Pebbles"
"Kukkii to koishi" (クッキーと小石)

In the house of the Wakatsuki, Syuri and Syusuke wonder how they are going to do with Sana and Nanaka who appear to still be on bad terms. All they can think of is to have a camping trip to the Kotsuchi River. They suggest that to Sana and Aoi and invited them to come. Syuri even tries to ask Nanaka because that is part of their plan. Since it is on a Sunday, Sana has no excuse. Syusuke mention to Sana that they will be visiting the spa after their trip there. Everything especially Aoi are excited about it. But something had to happen after this. As Sana and all return back to their classroom, Sana isn't aware of something on the floor and unconsciously stepped onto it. It happens to be Nanaka's and it is her makeup kit. Sana panicked and tries to apologize to her. Nanaka merely said that it is alright and walk away.

Later, she then saw Sana and Asami together in a shop again. She does not realize that they are not on a date at all. The next day in school, Sana give another makeup kit to Nanaka. She then realize that Sana and Asami were at the shop doing this with Sana asking her about which makeup kit he should buy for Nanaka and feel a bit relieved. Syuri then tries to get an answer from Nanaka about whether she would go on a trip. Nanaka agreed. Back at her home, she seems to have liked the gift from Sana and remember the past where she and her friends played at that river where their destination of their trip is. She remember bringing them cookies there. That is how she decide to do the same this time round. On the day of the trip itself, all of them meet at the rendezvous point. Thinking that all of those that were supposed to be here is here, Syuri tries to start the trip then. But Sana told them that Asami is coming too. Nanaka is stunned. While on the bus, Asami apologize to Syuri that she is late. She then take out a makeup kit that look similar to the one Nanaka had and explained to Syuri that it is actually Sana who bought that for her. Nanaka seems rather unhappy when she discover this.

Upon arrival, Sana and friends set up their campsite. Syuri notice that there is a lot of people here now and she knew why. A camp management office has been built there for the ease of camping here. But Syuri is sad about the number of trees that is chopped down because of it. Syusuke then remember that Sana once came here trying to make fire but failed to do so in the end. Sana can only feel embarrassed about that and immediately ask Syusuke to stop. He only did when Sana gives him a headlock. Then, Syusuke prepares to go fishing. Sana give the lure Syusuke has given to him long ago and made him surprised that Sana still has it. Sana even have the glove Syuri give him as well. Aoi is regretful that she should have given him a more lasting gift. Sana just cheer her up by saying that the memories of eating her cake then will last forever. Nanaka relates to that with him playing her song in the music room not long ago.

Aoi decides to join the boys for some fishing. Just as she was swinging the fishing pole, she did not realize that the lure's hooks actually catch her skirt and reveal everything that is underneath it to the boys. Everyone there, due to the excitement that Sana has something caught on his fishing rod as well, has no idea how they can help Aoi. As it turn out, Sana's catch is the only catch of the day. But thankfully, Aoi has a backup plan. She has prepared ingredients for a BBQ session. Syusuke can only complain how she has no faith in him who promise to have some catch today. Asami then prepare the fish for them. After she is done, Sana is seen walking past her. When he spot the blood stained knife, Sana almost freaked out. He manages to calm himself down, finding a seashell in the river. Just then, Syuri find him and ask him to go back with her. She notice how uncomfortable Sana felt. But he still manages to come out of it and celebrate their coming over here. Syusuke also want to say something about Sana's return but skipped that due to his fear that the food will be ruined. Everyone feast on the food they have including Nanaka who hear Syusuke wondering how great it would be to have some desserts after the main course. Apparently, Asami had that kind of thing. She seems to have brought a fruit cake along. Apparently, Nanaka did brought her cookies. But she did not dare to show it right now.

After dessert is over, they packed up and head over to the spa next. The change of swimming costumes came first with the two boys seeing what the girls were wearing. They are impressed by Asami and Aoi but can see little for Syuri. The girl immediately apologized for not having a better body than the other two. And Nanaka appear wearing surprisingly a school swimsuit which made everyone even the girls astonished. Nanaka explain that this is the only swimsuit she has. Nevertheless, the fun continues. Everyone had their fun with the slide but Aoi seems addicted to it. Eventually, all of them sit down to rest. Syusuke seems to have spotted Sana still wearing his watch. Sana become startled and tried to explain that it is waterproof and can take the water. Syusuke even ask him to take it off so that he can look at it closer. Sana refuses in a normal way, even saying that Syusuke would spoil it if Sana would give that to him. Nanaka then asked whether Sana treasured this watch very much. Syusuke suggest that it must be a gift from a girl. Nanaka is then stunned to hear that and stormed away saying that she wishes to swim some more. Syuri hit Syusuke's leg for punishment of him saying too much.

The day ended like this. Aoi, Sana and Nanaka were walking back home when Aoi recall having Nanaka's cookies in the past. Sana remember it as well and wish that he will get to eat them again. Nanaka then said that she has some with her. They were stunned. They arrived at Aoi's house to eat them. Nanaka's cookies appear to be as good as in the past. After they have finished it, Sana give the seashell he found in the river to Nanaka as a present. Nanaka is happy about that. Later, back at his room, his mother call him again. This time round, he sound much happy and lively right now. At Nanaka's home, she admire the seashell that is given by Sana. This is certainly the gift from Sana only met for her. 

04 "No Longer a Child"
"子供じゃないよ" (Kodomo ja nai yo)

After spending the day with his kendo club, Syusuke is seen walking back home when he spotted three boys bullying a girl by not letting her have her schoolbag. He stop them and manage to return the schoolbag to her before attempting to punish those threesome who already on their way out of here. The girl is very thankful for Syusuke's help and discover that he has accidentally left something behind. She decides to return him one day and she did.

Waiting for Syusuke to come out of his school at the gates, she eventually saw him and immediately run up to him. He is with all his friends at that time and is stunned that she is here. This girl immediately return the thing he left behind by Syusuke and thank him for helping her the last time. Everyone is surprised that Syusuke actually did something like this and it made him embarrassed. The next day, this girl, Hinako Mochida, came to see Syusuke once more. Syusuke sounded very annoyed by her presence and it made Hinako feel as though she is bothering him. But in order not to make her sad, Syusuke just denied he is feeling like this. A delighted Hinako then said that she will meet him at his school gates everyday starting from now. Syusuke is speechless. Hinako isn't kidding around. The next day, she is really there, waiting for him.

At night, Sana decides to make dinner for himself. However, he has totally forgot to turn on the rice cooker and deciding that it is rather late to start cooking for himself. He decide to go to the local diner to eat and find Hinako there. He understand from Hinako that she often came here to eat alone since her parents were too busy in their work and never came home to have dinner with her. Sana think that this is very lonely for her but Hinako immediately rebuked by saying that she is no longer a child and can take the loneliness as an adult. However, the fact that the kid's meal she has ordered arrives seconds after she said that embarrassed her. She then make an excuse that she is merely collecting the Yeti mascots. Just to try to make her feel a bit comfortable, Sana ordered himself a kid's meal as well.

After dinner, Sana gives his own Yeti mascot to Hinako since she said that she is collecting them. Hinako reluctantly receive it since he said he did not want it. She then find out that it is exactly the same mascot she has right now and blame that on Sana who has bad luck choosing them. Sana is speechless. The next day, Hinako ask for some time with Sana. He brought her to his room and discover that she is in love with Syusuke. Sana actually laughed when he hear this and that made Hinako very mad who decide to leave immediately. Sana attempt to stop her but manage to be tripped by the table and fall onto her. Coincidentally, Aoi came in to see this and is shocked. She thought that Sana is about to 'do' Hinako but that is clarified with immediate effect.

After she has calmed down, Sana tell Aoi that Hinako is actually in love with Syusuke and is asking him what she should do about it. When talking about Hinako being too young for Syusuke, Aoi rebuked by saying love goes beyond all boundaries. Hinako feel as though Aoi can help her and immediately regard her as her onee-sama. Aoi is truly happy to hear that.

As it turn out, plans to know more about Syusuke is carried out with Sana being the executioner and coordinated by Aoi. First, Sana is tasked to ask Syusuke what kind of girl he likes. Once it is known that Syusuke likes girls with seeable assets, Hinako pleaded to Aoi to tell her how she can make breasts grow bigger. Aoi say that she did not know but ponder that her mother might. Her mother is then asked with the same question, but she can only assume that one solution is to let a boy grope her breasts. She immediately turn towards Sana who refuse to do this swiftly. The mother then said that all she has tell them just now is all a joke and think that the breasts will naturally grow up as long as Hinako has a healthy lifestyle. Hinako is disappointed to hear that.

Next, Sana is tasked again to ask what other features Syusuke look for in a girl besides the breasts. He states that this girl must have decent cooking skills unlike her twin sister who still cannot crack a egg properly. Unfortunately for Syusuke, Syuri actually hear what he said and tell him that even if she might not crack an egg well, she is certainly good at cracking other round things such as his head. All that can be heard next is Syusuke's agonizing scream. When this is found out by Hinako, she is quite sad since she has never cooked before. However, when Aoi suggest teaching her how to do that, she literally lit up again. Unfortunately, Aoi isn't a good teacher to her at all. Sana is tasked to eat whatever Hinako has made next but once he saw the disgusting color of the curry Hinako has made, he almost vomited. Sana ask Aoi what actually happen in the kitchen that allow her to make such a thing. Aoi never say and never dare to think about it. Hinako is frustrated that Sana still haven't eat her food and decide to help him up a bit. She then stuff one spoonful of that into his mouth and the result is Sana's spirit leaving his body instantly. It is not very appetizing at all.

In school, Syusuke then tell Sana that he now actually likes girls that is caring and not violent, not like her twin sister. Sana can understand why after Syusuke must have gone through Syuri's full course punishment. On the way back, Syusuke notice Hinako being too quiet. He ask why but Hinako did not answer. He then say that she should be more lively since she is a kid. Hinako is stunned when he said that. At Sana's house, Aoi decides that Hinako should just confess to Syusuke. Sana is told to give Hinako a chance to do that. Sana is to bring Syusuke to the aquarium with Hinako already waiting there and looking as though she is here and meeting them coincidentally. Sana will then disappear from the two and let Hinako have the opportunity to do that. Sana did all that and when he is taking a rest in the food centre, Syusuke and Hinako rejoined him. Syusuke ask where he went and Sana lied that he is trying to find them. Seeing Hinako feeling rather sad, Sana suggest they go home.

Once Sana and Hinako are left alone, Sana hear from Hinako that the confession failed. Syusuke reject her completely since he has no time for romance. Despite being treated seriously like an adult by Syusuke, Hinako just cannot help but feel sad about it. She still did not wish to cry since she is an adult. Sana is there to lent her his shoulder, telling her that adults do cry with broken hearts as well. This is when Hinako let out her emotions literally. At his room, Sana ask her mother whether she has ever confessed to anyone. Her mother think that he has someone he liked but Sana discredit her claim entirely, feeling rather melancholy about it. 

05 "Unblooming Cherry Tree"
"咲かない桜" (Saka nai sakura)

Nanaka is seen practicing some dance when her uncle knock on her door of her room. She immediately answer it and ask why her uncle seek her audience. He just want to say that bonfire will still be used in the performance. Nanaka understand and wishes to continue her practice. Her uncle agree to allow her to do that but when the door is closed, he is quite saddened by the fact that her attitude towards him show that she is still treating him like a stranger. After school, Nanaka said that she cannot go to the karaoke with her friends. They ask why and Nanaka answered straightforwardly. Sana actually did not know what Nanaka is saying about a dance performance in the next festival and Aoi explained it to him. Nanaka said that she actually did not want to do that but because she is under the care of her uncle, she did not dare to refuse this. Sana then ask why she is living with her uncle and she cannot say. The friends around them become silently saddened as well.

Sana is then seen shopping and met Asami on the way back. She asked Sana whether he has time to accompany her. Sana did and agree to do that. They arrive at a pet salon where they sell ID collars. Asami say that there is a cat in a local old age home that she has found in the streets days ago and think that it should have a collar saying that it belong to the home now. She then ask Sana whether he is free on Sunday to go with her to the home to help out. Sana agreed. Just then, Nanaka notice them inside the salon and think that they are dating right now. Feeling quite angry and frustrated, she initially try to ignore this and walk away but feel something is not right. Just as she turn around, Sana and Asami walk out of the salon and notice her. Nanaka ask whether they are on a date but Sana immediately explained that they are not and they met on the streets coincidentally just now. He then ask whether Nanaka has some time on Sunday to come with them to the old age home but immediately remember that she need to practice her dance practice. Not allowing Asami to have time alone with Sana on Sunday, Nanaka decide to go along as well.

On Sunday, Sana, Nanaka and Asami went to the old age home as planned. The caretaker is there to greet them as well as the cat that Asami brought here. Its name is Poe and Asami immediately give it the collar selected by Sana to it. The black cat seems happy with that. They have a tour around the home and eventually went to the living room to find Syuri here. Syuri is there to help out as well but Asami never mention that to them. Sana is then immediately called to play video games with an old man named Yokoi. Since he did not have anyone here that can play video games with him here, Sana is called here to do so. Sana is starting to feel regret coming here. While Sana started to play video games with the old man, Asami notice that a Java sparrow named Pi is missing as well. She assumed that it might be Poe who ate it for lunch but the cat purred to defend itself. Asami then notice that a old woman named Kaji is not here as well. The caretaker said that she has a cold this morning and  is feeling lethargic right now. Asami seems to be worried for the old lady. The caretaker then said that Kaji has been acting strange since her granddaughter died earlier this year. She mention that there is a time that Kaji went missing. And when she find her, her hands were full of mud. The caretaker then ask Asami to visit her later. She agreed without hesitation. As a matter of fact, all of her friends came along. When introducing Nanaka and Sana to the old lady, she suddenly stood up and mistook Nanaka as her granddaughter, Motoko. Kaji thought that Motoko has came back and started approaching Nanaka. She seems frightened by the old woman and backpedaled onto Sana who is standing behind her right now.

Unfortunately, the caretaker manages to shake the old woman out of her trance in time. The shaken Kaji is then leaded to a nearby seat by everyone else besides Nanaka and Sana. Once she calmed down, Kaji apologize to Nanaka for what has happened to her just now. She states that Nanaka look very much like her decreased granddaughter and mistook Nanaka of her completely. The caretaker explain that her granddaughter died earlier this year and have long black hair like Nanaka's. Kaji then say that she is good at playing violin as well. When Sana discovered it, he request Nanaka to play a tune for the old woman. Syuri, who might have known something about Nanaka and her matter with the violin, persuade Sana not to have Nanaka do it but due to pressure from everyone, she can only see Nanaka suffer. A scene of fire can be seen in Nanaka's mind as she refuse to do it. Sana even tries to persuade Nanaka to do it but is rebuked by Syuri. Nanaka just cannot do it. After sending Nanaka back home, Sana tries to apologize to her for what has happened just now. Nanaka merely said that is alright and walk off, leaving a puzzled Sana behind.

A few days later, Sana meet Aoi before going to the festival. Aoi decides to wear a yukata and show it to Sana. She seems happy to be praised by Sana for looking good in it. They then meet Syuri and Syusuke at the shrine compound. Syuri realizes that Aoi is wearing a yukata and Aoi just cannot wait to tell her that Sana praised her for doing that. Syuri is surprised that Sana would actually say such a thing as Sana felt embarrassed. They then realize that they will be left behind by the two overly excited fellows in their group, Aoi and Syusuke. Sana ask Syusuke why they should meet at the festival at such an early time. Syusuke is just too excited about the festival that he cannot wait at home anymore. Syuri tease him by saying he acted like a kid who cannot hold his pee at home just now. Syusuke cannot be happy about that. They soon realize the most excited person among their group is Aoi who reach the shrine and brought food for herself already.

Soon enough, it is Syusuke's turn to go wild. He challenge Sana to a shooting game. Sana took the challenge. Night arrives quite soon. Aoi and company decides to go for a shrine prayer. It is then they notice Nanaka at work. Sana went to talk to her as the others went ahead first. Sana ask why is she doing over here, tending a shop. Nanaka said that they are currently shorthanded and she is just helping out before the dance performance started. She then notice a giant size Yeti in his possession. Sana wonder how he is going to deal with it since it is troublesome carrying it around. Nanaka then is about to ask Sana whether he can give her that when the Yeti lover, Hinako, arrives. She is stunned that Sana wants it as the boy remember that she is a Yeti fan. He waste no time unloading this giant to her. Hinako is truly happy about that. Nanaka can only sulk when she saw Sana giving Hinako that.

Just before the dance performance, Nanaka went to rinse herself with water, seemingly acting rather frustrated. While waiting for the dance performance, Syuri ask everyone whether they know what the dance performance is for. When no one can answer, she explained it all to them and credit that to the old lady, Kaji. Apparently, her husband is a historian of this city before he died and that is how the old lady knows. Apparently, the dance performance is done to make cherry blossom trees of two local hills bloom so that wishes can come true. Apparently, instead of a dance performance, human sacrifices are made instead. Hinako feel skeptical about it though. It is then that the dance performance started.

After the dance performance is over, Sana went to see Nanaka backstage. Nanaka ask him what he think about her dance performance. Sana said that it is greatly beautiful. Nanaka blushed instantly. Sana then ask whether she wants to walk around the festival with him and their friends since he want Nanaka to join on this as well. Just then, something ran past her legs and make Nanaka scream. She literally grabbed hold of Sana by her chest and started to squeeze tightly as Sana who gradually started to breathe heavily ask what happened. When it is found out that it is nothing but a raccoon, Nanaka almost became Sana's executioner. She let go of him embarrassingly as she immediately apologized. After a few awkward seconds, they both laughed at what has happened. Just as the mood and moment came and they are about to hold their hands together, Hinako intervened. That kid has ruined the intimacy of the two literally.

The scene then change to the old age home where Kaji is watching a news broadcast about the festival while patting Poe. Strange enough, everything ended after Poe's collar dropped into the darkness.
