Congratulations Trish on being awarded "Toastmaster of the Year" for
our club and for obtaining her ATM Gold award.
Congratulations also to David, who has been awarded "Most
Improved Toastmaster."

the Changeover Dinner)
Guest
We welcomed our guest Pamela, who has been a member of a Toastmasters
club in Canberra.
Round Robin
"I have a dream"....
John asked everyone what there dream was. Most Toastmasters
had high aspirations, helping worthy causes, making a difference in the
world, as well as personal dreams such as paying off a home loan, getting
a pergola built, visiting family overseas, or getting their bedroom tidy!
Table Topics
Lenore
used titles from her bookshelf for her table topics and asked Caroline,
Trish, Bing, Marlene, Joyce and John to speak on ....
1. "I'm OK, You're OK."
2. "Men are from Mars, Women
are from Venus"
3. "Great
Expectations"
4. "The Road Less Travelled"
5. "How to Get Well"
6. "You'll see it when you believe it"
Educational
Session
Penne presented "The Big Picture" and showed clearly where
our club fits into the Toastmasters "family tree," eg club, area, district,
division, etc. She reminded us that the most important person in the organisation
is the individual member.
Speech
For various reasons, all three scheduled speakers were unable to present
their speech. However, Penne rose to the occasion and delivered a wonderful
impromptu speech,
"15 Men on a Dead Man's Chest." about some childhood
adventures.
Jokes
Narda read a few funny "Church Bulletin" notices.
