-We are learning our first art techniques, the use of fonts, misting and wet-on-wet painting by applying these techniques to our daily work assignments in order to embellish them in preparation for grade 6 achievement and to present our work in a prideful manner.

-“My Initials Pri-Sec” Project (Painting: students plan their 2 initials according to a rubric, using bubble letters that overlap…they choose two primary colours and use the appropriate secondary colour wherever the letters overlap)

Tuesday: 1) Math: MQ142 #1-4; MQ143 even numbers  2) A new classroom economic policy was adopted to support our being responsible for our materials for learning.  Please ask me what this means and what I need in order to succeed.  3) Please look at the Scholastic Book Fair sheet that I will be filling out tomorrow during a preview of the Book Fair display.  4) . 

Wednesday: 1) Math: MQ144 even numbers; MQ145 even numbers to 20, 30, 32  2) There is no library this Friday so I should bring in my library book(s) tomorrow.  3) We visited the book fair today. 4) Mr. Myers is looking forward to conferencing with you tomorrow or Friday.  *Tomorrow is my last opportunity to submit my P.O.T.W..
Thursday: 1) Math: MQ146 all; MQ147 I am to do as many questions as I can.  2) The school’s Lost and Found has been set up by the gym.  Do we need to peruse it for any of my belongings?  3) We hope to have our science orders from Science Is… by Monday.  4) There is a new P.O.T.W. for next week.  5) Please sign and return the Glenbow Museum field trip forms to Mrs. Sparrow by Wednesday December 10 at the latest.  *I did not hand in my P.O.T.W. this week and had to pay a fifty dollar fine.
