Art	-We are learning our first art techniques, the use of fonts, misting and wet-on-wet painting by applying these techniques to our daily work assignments in order to embellish them in preparation for grade 6 achievement and to present our work in a prideful manner. -“*My Initials Pri-Sec” Project (Painting*: students plan their 2 initials according to a rubric, using bubble letters that overlap…they choose two primary colours and use the appropriate secondary colour wherever the letters overlap)
S.S.	Social studies is taught by Ms Sparrow
Other	Organization skills (desk cleaning, ordering notes, emphasizing dates and titles for daily work, etc.).

Tuesday: 1) Math: I received my math test results today. Please initial the self-evaluation sheet. 2) Please come to tomorrow’s fifth annual Grade Five Model Car Rally. We hope to see you in the gym around 08:30. *I have yet to hand in my journal entry.

Wednesday: 1) Math: We learned how to play ‘99’ during math class. Let’s play a game! 2) Thank you so much, parents, for your invaluable contributions to our car rally. *I cannot participate in the classroom party until I submit my journal entry.
Thursday: (no messages: But have a super safe, joyous and healthy holiday!)
Friday: (no school…enjoy the holidays!)
