-Song: Le petit prince + vocabulary (roi, reine, prince + review of the days of the week: lundi, mardi, mercredi, jeudi, vendredi, samedi, dimanche) -Conjugating –ER verbs (review + introduction to new –ER verbs) -Carnaval: introduction of vocabulary and events surrounding the French Canadian celebration of Carnaval -French is taught using the four modes/skills of learning. geometry units today with the written pre-test. 2) I received feedback on my latest journal entry. 3) We are working on posters as part of
our study of the novel, Hatchet.
Tuesday: 1) Math: MQ90 and 91#1-10 2) Science: Listen to my account of the
activity we did today. Mr. Myers
has my duotang. 3) I am coming
home with a letter from Mrs. Newman regarding our school’s opera. 4) Tomorrow, my Carnaval research will
be evaluated for effort in French.
5) We have Fun Food Day tomorrow.
Wednesday: 1) Math:
MQ93 #1; We are folding nets into solids.
2) Science: Mr. Myers gave our evaluated science pages back
to us today. 3) There is no
journal entry that is due this week as we are busy putting together our novel
study posters. 4) My social
studies mini-research is due Thursday February 5. No excuses, no extensions, no work = 0. I’m doing with . *Tonight is my last opportunity to
either improve or to simply submit this week’s P.O.T.W..
Thursday: 1) Math: MQ98
and 99 all 2) We
are mixing liquids and recording our observations in science. 3) We have no
library tomorrow as it is a P.D. day.
4) There are two important letters coming home from the school’s office:
Go Green program and Carnaval. 5) There is no P.O.T.W. next week. *I did not submit this week’s P.O.T.W. and was fined fifty
dollars.
