-Punctuation, spelling and capitals will be our focus through the use of our agendas (accuracy in copying messages that model good writing form) and we will also pursue this worthy self-editing goal soon in our personal dictionary/spellers.

-P.A.R.I.S.

-Poetry: Students will embark upon the creation of their own poetry anthology.  First, we will introduce poetry by familiarizing ourselves with what poetry means to us, where we find poetry, what poetry is and by identifying different forms of poetry.  We will begin our first poem, Name Poem by the end of the week.  During the poetry unit, the teacher will read at least one poem per day.  Students who have either written or found a poem will be given the opportunity to share them with the class.

-Journal Entry: On Monday, students will review the makings of a good plan (5 Ws + H, 5 Senses, Emotions) prior to writing their journal entry about the Spring Break (the title will be up to the individual student).  Journal entries are due by Friday.

F.L.A.

-School: We will continue to write school subjects in brief, easy sentences using the conjugated verbs, ÉTUDIER and AIMER.

-Pronunciation will be developed through small group work and by playing the game, Tribal Pronunciation.  The winners of this week’s tournament will receive S.T.O.R.E. money for June’s S.T.O.R.E..
