VERY IMPORTANT CHARACTERS

Sarpedon Eponymous Archon / High Judge
Sarpedon's life is one of the best told stories around a warm fire on a cold night. Rumour has it that he was born in the woods of Eleusia and raised by Amazons. Since the wild women of the forest never take men in, it is quite hard to believe Sarpedon's tale, but for some reason, its been generally accepted as truth. After growing up with the Amazons, he ventured into the city and grew up under the apprentice of a Hestian Virgin. (Again, quite unbelievable, but acknowledged as truth.) After this, he entered politics and philosophy under the tutelege of one of Eleusia's most reknowned orators. His Judgeship grew from there. Sarpedon is one of the most enigmatic men in Eleusia - almost as mystical as the Oracle.
Seras Detagio (Second in Command of the Army)
Not from humble origins at all, Seras was a child of House Vertus and was pampered every day. But when he joined the military, he pushed it all away, opting to pay for his expenses and sleep amongst the commoners. Unlike the Strategoi, he started as a Commander with the charioteers. After a glorious victory against the barbarians, Seras was praised by his superior Officers and was promoted to Genus. He is a well-liked leader, and benefits from having his hands in both the social world of the nobility and the working world of the military.

HOW TO APPLY FOR VIP AND FEATURE CHARACTERS

Applying for a character is easy as pie. Follow these simple steps:

Make sure your character is one you must apply for. The following characters are app-only:
*Centaurs
*Demi, Semi-Gods
*Satyrs
*Nymphs
*VIP Slots (See board, +VIPS)
*Foreigners
To apply, create a thorough BG (see news bg) and answer these questions:
*Why do you want to play this character?
*What gaming experience do you have?
Further, don't forget to mention any special stats you want (any high magic scores).
Send the above to the correct staffer. +Finger the staffer for their email address. If all else fails, send the application to fair6@yahoo.com (the Goddess' address).

HOW TO APPLY FOR GODS

Applying for a God Character is a bit harder than applying for a VIP character. Since the God Character already has a background (you can't change the fact that Aphrodite rode in on the half-shell), the staff has to ask for something comprable to weed through the competition. Therefore, to apply for a GOD:

Read the god's specific news file. (News gods) Also read news magic to find out which magic the god is a patron of.
Read news BG. Make sure you at least follow those directions - spellcheck and grammar check make your app shine!
Instead of the usual BG, staff asks for an ANECDOTE that hits on three specific points:
a. The personality of the god in question - NO GODS ON THE GAME CAN PKILL NO MATTER HOW POWERFUL THEY ARE. Remember that any app that has a god killing someone will be automatically disqualified.
b. A short story about what the god has been doing in Eleusia since the city became the 'City of the Gods'. (BTW, those who spell Eleusia correctly automatically go on my 'good' list.)
c. Somehow work in how this god relates to the rest of the gods. Feel free to contact the currently filled gods through @mail or page for help on that.
All apps should be AT LEAST 2 word pages long, times new roman font, 10 points, spacing either 1.5 or 2. No large margins.
