Cooper was born Jan 4, 1992.  Finishing his championship easily with group placements, he was never campaigned due to the fact we concentrated on specialling the bitches out of that litter.  He is a large boned red male who has produced many Champions for us.

Buddy is a Kiwi son and holds the record for this breed with ten Best in Show wins. Buddy was Canada's Number One Dachshund in 1995, 1996 and 1997.  He was also the Number Three hound and Number Ten Hound twice during his campaign years.  Buddy is also a multi group placer in the USA.  His get are quickly finishing on both sides of the border.  He is currently at stud with his breeder/owners, Ed and Pat Macdonald of Valona Dachshunds in Victoria, BC.

Monty was born Dec. 1, 1998.  He finished his Championship as a puppy with multiple group and puppy group wins.  Included in this were Best Puppy in Show and Best Puppy in Specialty shows in both the USA and Canada.

Scooby was a singleton puppy born Oct 20 1997. He finished his championship with group placements from the classes. He is retired now, living in B.C. with his owner, Scott Allan.

HEMI was born July 23, 1999.  In such a short career so far, HEMI was awarded with being Number Four Standard Smooth in his puppy year.  Before one year of age, Hemi was already a Specialty, Best Puppy in Specialty and Best Puppy in Show winner.  By one year of age, Hemi had 15 group placements, many of them Group First awards.  His first trip stateside saw him winning Reserve Winners Dog at the American National (DCA) in 2002.  He then went on to win four majors on a specialty weekend.  He is a multiple group placer in the US, and currently one of the top Smooth Daxies there.

In his campaign year (2002), HEMI was awarded multiple Best in Shows (4) and a Group Second at the prestigious Show of Shows.  He is currently the #1 Dachshund, all varieties in Canada.  He is owned by Ryan Krokosinski of Calgary, bred by Ed and Pat MacDonald, and standing at stud with us at Chilcotin Kennels.

Spencer is owned by Tracy and Steve Tuff of Devon, AB.

This lovely dog was born December 9, 2002. He finished his Canadian title as a puppy and won many all breed sweepstakes and multiple Best Puppy In Shows. 

His American majors were obtained from the 12-18 class, during a specialty weekend which included a breed win over specials. He finished his American Championship on the next trip, with two more breed wins over specials as well as a group fourth.

Spencer is now waiting in the wings while he matures

Schroeder was born Dec 12, 2000. He is our token Standard Wire Hair. Imported from Brazil from Breeders and Co Owners, Carlos and Patricia Pedrosa, he is well on his way to becoming a top Daxie.  His puppy career saw many group first wins and other group placements.  Along with this he won five Best Puppy In Shows.  Schroeder is a group placer in three countries (Brazil, Canada and the USA).  His first Best in Show was awarded at 15 months of age. Schroeder is now a multi Best In Show winner and has been one one of the Top Wires in Canada for three consecutive years (2000-2002). 

2003 was Schroeder's heavy campaign year when he won an incredible ten all breed best in shows. He was #1 Standard Wire, #2 Coats all varieties, and Canada's #3 Hound for this year. He is now five years old, in semi retirement, and watching his kids burn up the show scene. His Daughter, Ch Multi BIS, BISS Withensea Pippin Reed (bred by Lindy Wiebe and owned by Janet Rein) was Canada's Top Wire in 2004. See Schroeder's pedigree here.
