Chilcotin was established in 1968 by Rose
and Roy Singleton. Upon their passing, the kennel name was left to me to
continue on. We breed very selectively and have one litter every two to
three years. Currently, Chilcotin Kennels houses six
Standard Smooth Dachshunds: two reside with me, and four with my sister,
Alana Smith. We also have a Standard Wire Dachshund and two Golden
Retrievers. Chilcotin Kennels has had much success with
the campaigning and showing of our dogs. We hold many records for the breed with Best
in Show awards, points allocated, and puppy wins. Please visit our
