The Victorian Era is often thought of as a time of beauty, grace, and romance. But, it was also a period that saw many industrial and cultural changes in a relatively short span of time. Perhaps it was in reaction to the changes around them that the Victorians also were known for rigid protocols and strict moral standards. The information contained here is an effort to help us better understand the lives of our ancestors, and to enable us to bring some of the grace and charm of the age into our own lives and homes.
