Reiki Tips

Comfort:
- Make sure your client is as comfortable as possible!
- Use a table if you can, padded. If not, a chair or bed.
- Blanket and pillows for head & under knees (under ankles when on
tummy)
- Be sure YOU are as comfortable as possible!
- Relax!
- Keep your back straight and supported
Personal considerations:
- Dont wear scents (after shave or perfumes or oils, hand creams)
- Dont breathe into your clients face (turn your head)
- Limit use of garlic before treatments
- Wash hands always
The Treatment Itself:
- Whenever possible do the entire treatment.
- More is better. Treating a number of successive days is exponentially
more powerful.
- Provide a quiet, restful setting.
- Make sure there are no interruptions like visitors, children, phones,
cats.
- Keep conversation to a minimum so your client can relax their mind
as well.
- Ask if the client wants quiet music, not everyone does.
- Let your touch be gentle, unhurried and present.
